PAM overrides PermitEmptyPasswords
I noticed while investigating Debian Bug #93200 (http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=93200&repeatmerged=yes) that sshd refuses a login if /etc/pam.d/ssh doesn't specify "nullok" after the pam_unix.so module -- is there any way to resolve this problem? It seems that OpenSSH should override PAM in this case, someone posted a patch on 6/19 that appears to address this

sshd hangs on logout -- is this a bug?
In the changelog, there is an entry: 20001129 - (djm) Back out all the serverloop.c hacks. sshd will now hang again if there are background children with open fds. Does this mean that this is regarded as expected (and correct) behavior, that should not change in the future, or does it mean that this behavior is a known problem that someone will eventually fix? --Adam -- Adam McKenna

How do I confirm importing repo key without user intervention?
> what about importing the key beforehand > rpm --import keyfile That's what I do. But when I try to install a package from that (passenger) repository manually, yum wants my confirmation: # curl --fail -sSLo /etc/yum.repos.d/passenger.repo https://oss-binaries.phusionpassenger.com/yum/definitions/el-passenger.repo # grep gpgkey /etc/yum.repos.d/passenger.repo

How to automatically confirm importing repo key?
Hi, I'm trying to set up provisioning LXC container running CentOS. And among other things, I need to install nginx + passenger from a non-official repo (the docs: https://www.phusionpassenger.com/library/install/nginx/install/oss/el7/). With this playbook: - hosts: all tasks: # https://docs.ansible.com/ansible/yum_repository_module.html - name: Add repository yum_repository:

Sounds like what I had in mind, could you point me in the right direction to an example of agi scripts that might do this :-). I'm not well versed in the ways of the AGI and would flounder significantly. I recently upgraded from 20050930 to 0.9.7 on my FreeBSD 6.0 box, and tried to run the same version that worked under
