Packages for Animal Models & QG analyses
Hi, I am looking to do some quantitative genetic analyses using animal models and was wondering if someone could suggest an appropriate package in R. It would help if it was similar to the ASReml genetic analyses software. fixed point AEC
Analog Devices sponsored a fixed point version for AEC which was posted early this year, but it seems from the source code that the fft routines are still in floating point. Is the port still not complete or am I missing something? Has anyone out there ported speex AEC on RISC architecture? Please let me know. Thanks in advance, -Deepa -------------- next part -------------- An HTML

Exit status strangeness
Hello, Trying to get Oracle DataGuard running, which basically does a lot of work between two replicating databases via rsh/ssh. It is breaking because it pays very close attention to the exit status of ssh commands. We are using OpenSSH 2.5.2p2 (also tried 2.9p1, same result) on Solaris 7 and 8. This seems to be Solaris specific, because I can't reproduce it on Linux. I've

Adding labels to heatmaps from image()
Hi, I have been trying to add labels to the rows of a heatmap produced using image() function. It is simply not working. Here is what I did. occasional ssh hang
I am using OpenSSH on Redhat 6.2 (Intel) and Solaris 2.6 (Sparc). I have a job on the linux machine that ssh's to the Solaris machine every 20 seconds or so and runs uptime. The problem is that after many iterations of this, ssh will occasionally hang, and require a kill -9 to get rid of the process. The problem happens with both protocol version 1 and 2, but it seems to happened more often

libsmbclient smbc_context problems.
Hello all! I have a problem/question regarding sambas context caching. I have a little C module which uses some basic functions from libsmbclient. I.e smbc.opendir(). When I use this from a linux terminal and supply a user/pass it works as it should. (Access granted when right user/pass and access denied when wrong pass. Obviously! :)) The problem is that if I use the module from a web
