Date Wise Recordings
Hi,
I like my recordings to go to date wise folder i mean to say that for
example today is 20070409 so all recordings should go directly to that
folder instead of one folder for whole month. and then next day's recordings
should go to next date folder.
so how can i do that my current monitor context is like...
exten => _1NXXNXXXXXX,3,Monitor(gsm,/rec/asterisk/apr07/${CALLFILENAME},mb)

trashed files on a Samba share?
Hi.
My problem is this: my mail and newsreader, Fort? Agent, runs ok when
the server is NT but has the annoying habit of systematically trashing
its databases if the server is Samba. But not always...
If the client is 98, no problems at all. If the client is NT, then
Agent will work ok if you set "nt smb support" to "no". With this
setting, a client running 98 will fail to

check_auth: username mismatch
Hi all,
I've got a Polycom 501 that I just can't seem to get lines 2 and 3 to work
on.? Line 1 works fine.
When my user tries to use line 2 or 3 to dial out, they get a fast busy
signal and I get this error message on the console:

Is it just me or does Xorg/Gnome seem slow and clunky to any other

Forum,
I am attempting to plot weekly horizontal histograms, something very similar
to:

Asterisk with Intel modems 537 or MD3200
I've just give a look to the website
http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+Hardware
If I understand very well, the Intel modems marked with 537 or MD3200 chipset should work with Asterisk ?!
If it is true, I'd like to know how to configure Asterisk ?
Thanks a lot.

Update from 6.6 to 6.7 > automount logs error message
Hello,
after an update from 6.6 to 6.7 the following error message is logged to
/var/log/messages when I login (per ssh):
Aug 11 16:31:21 a1234 automount[1598]: set_tsd_user_vars: failed to get passwd
info from getpwuid_r
Checked all log-files of my systems running 6.6 with same configuration -- never
got such a message (We use NFS/autofs for home-directories, NIS and tcsh (login
shell)).

Dovecot 1.2.9 Crash, NFS
Hi,
I'm stuck with a problem we have with dovecot.
My suspicion is, that it has to do with accessing the same mailbox/mail stored on a NFS-share from two machines at the same time.
setup
We have to mail servers running, both run a Ubuntu 10.04, Postfix 2.70 and Dovecot 1.2.9.
The mailboxes are stored in maildir format on a NFS-Share.
In front of those to mail servers we have a load

A shorter version of ".Last.value"?
Hi,
There is an object, ".Last.value" to which the result of the most recent
evaluation is assigned. This is similar to "ans" in Matlab. In Matlab
"ans" can be very useful and time-saving, but typing the larger R
version is somewhat clunky and takes away from the usefulness.
Is it possible to reassign '.Last.value' to something simpler, like
