[PATCH 9/9] Decompressors: check input size in unlzo.c
From: Lasse Collin <lasse.collin@tukaani.org> The code assumes that the input is valid and not truncated. Add checks to avoid reading past the end of the input buffer. Change the type of "skip" from u8 to int to fix a possible integer overflow. Signed-off-by: Lasse Collin <lasse.collin@tukaani.org> Signed-off-by: Jan Beulich <jbeulich@suse.com> ---

output a sequence of plots
I can output two histograms of variables AXFILTERED and AZPTOP as follows: win.metafile(filename="C:/AXFILTERED.emf",pointsize=12) hist(AXFILTERED,breaks=40) dev.off() win.metafile(filename="C:/AZPTOP.emf",pointsize=12) hist(AZPTOP,breaks=40) dev.off() But, I actually have a dataframe of 120 variables that I would like histograms of. Any solutions that would save me from

Possible changes to connections
When I originally implemented connections in R 1.2.0, I followed the model in the 'Green Book' closely. There were a number of features that forced a particular implementation, and one was getConnection() that allows one to recreate a connection object from a number. I am wondering if anyone makes use of this, and if so for what? It would seem closer to the R philosophy to have

Candidate for packet compression: XZ
Kernel 2.6.38 has adopted a format called XZ for kernel use, as well as some filesystems. Format appears to be optimized for streaming and embedded use. I'll happily test it if anyone wants to plug in some code for it. http://tukaani.org/xz/format.html http://kernelnewbies.org/LinuxChanges -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Fix for incorrect use of restrict in xz third party code
Hello, the included XZ Utils source code contains an incorrect use of the restrict keyword. This leads to data corruption under certain circumstances. For a short discussion of the problem see http://sourceforge.net/projects/lzmautils/forums/forum/708858/topic/3306733 This was fixed in the XZ Utils git repository in commit commit 49cfc8d392cf535f8dd10233225b1fc726fec9ef Author: Lasse

Re: ACM codec
Mr. Blum, I had to make some assumptions writing the driver, because I had no previous experience writing ACM drivers. I did what I could based in Microsoft's documentation but, of course, I made same mistakes. I had no time to test the code I wrote yet and will not in the next 2 weeks. All I can tell you now is about what I did and about my sources. So, considering your enthusiasm, I suggest
