It seems that lustre puts its modules in /lib/modules/2.6.16.21-0.8-default

Difficulty configuring RDMA in CentOS
Hi
We are trying to configure RDMA for an infiniband connection between our
data server (running CentOS 6.8) and our compute nodes (running CentOS
6.6).? We have been trying to follow the instructions in
https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_enterprise_linux/7/html/networking_guide/sec-configuring_the_base_rdma_subsystemedit
however we are getting conflicting information on

[PATCH] Btrfs: fix a deadlock on chunk mutex
An user reported that he has hit an annoying deadlock while playing with
ceph based on btrfs.
Current updating device tree requires space from METADATA chunk,
so we -may- need to do a recursive chunk allocation when adding/updating
dev extent, that is where the deadlock comes from.
If we use SYSTEM metadata to update device tree, we can avoid the recursive
stuff.

INN removed from CentOS 6
I use inn to make internal company announcements and
discussions available to remote offices.
I note inn is removed form RHEL 6. What replaces inn?
http://docs.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/6/html/Technical_Notes/apc.html
Will inn be available from elsewhere? Will I have to compile
it?
Should I modify my scripts to create and install html files

ext4?
Listee's...
I have a 5.5 box and I have formatted a partition as ext4 however I
can't mount it, the mount command is telling me its an unknown file
system type. fsck tells me the partition is a clean ext4 partition but
I can't mount it.
Some reasearch has lead me to believe the problem is that ext4 isn't
enabled in the kernel by default in 5.5 (this was originally a 5.2 box

EXT4 status for centos 5.3
Hi,
I was wondering what is the current status fro ext4 support in Centos. I've
noticed that is marked as dev when I try to use it from the installer.
Does anybody have a scary story to prevent using it?

Configuration...
Hi have what might be some elementary questions. Really, what I"d love
would be for someone who has had good success to publish his/her
configuration files and, maybe, the output from ifconfig. At this point,
when I see the not-so-good performance I"m getting, I don't realistically
know if I'm in the right ballfield. It seems to me, that with so many

Replace brick of a dead node
Hi!
Seeking pardon from the experts, but I have a basic usage question that I could not find a straightforward answer to.
I have a two node cluster, with two bricks replicated, one on each node.
Lets say one of the node dies and is unreachable.
I want to be able to spin a new node and replace the dead node's brick to a location on the new node.
The command 'gluster volume

Tools to take a kernel crash dump.
Hello Everyone,
We have noticed that one of our servers xen Dom0 is restarting
idiopathically. Atleast, we are not able to analyze the cause. I have
checked the logs but couldn''t find anything relating to it.
Are there any tools such as kdump (which doesn''t seem to work on xenified
kernels) for catching the kernel crash snapshot.

gluster and rocks?
Is anyone using Gluster with the Rocks cluster system? If so, do you
know if there is a Roll for Gluster? Or, do you have any advice about
things to do and things to avoid doing?
We're considering using Gluster with Infiniband on our cluster and
trying to learn whether other people have done this so we can perhaps
learn from their experience.
Thanks.
