[PATCH 1/1] lua: Cleaned up the dmi table structure in Lua.c32 and added all missing DMI subtables
From: Hung-chi Lihn <hlihn at google.com>
In the current Lua.c32 DMI implementation, it is a flat table with dotted
names in table entries. It also misses a number DMI sub-tables.
This patch, cleans up the DMI table structure using Lua's nested table
structure and adds all missing DMI sub-tables. If a DMI sub-table is not
supported by the hardware (not filled), then the corresponding

[PATCH] Add ldisk.c32 Lua module
ldisk.c32 is a Lua module that provides information about disks to Lua scripts
The example script com32/lua/test/detect_disks.lua uses it to implement some-
thing akin to 'disk.c32'.
The name 'ldisk.c32' was chosen to avoid a name-clash with 'disk.c32'.

[PATCH 00/21] Upgrade to Lua 5.2.2, add filesystem module and get_key binding
Hi,
This series targets automatic boot menu generation, but most of it
is the Lua upgrade, because I got tired reading deprecated API docs.
It's mostly a straightforward forward port of the earlier Syslinux
specific changes to Lua 5.1, except that:
* I chose the add a stub getenv() implementation to the COM32 API
instead of #ifdefing out all the references in Lua, and
* I kept oslib

[PATCH] Add support for DHCP-Options [ CHADDR? ]
Ferenc,
Any chance you could make DHCP CHADDR available in your macro patch?
It would solve a lot of problems for a lot of people I think.
I'm trying to do it, but its going to take me a while to figure out how to
checkout the git source code, apply your patch, and perhaps create a
renderer for 00:xx:xx:xx:xx ect.. format.
BTW really enjoy your posts!

broadcast packets from domU duplicated?
I''m running a nevada b99 guest on a nevada b99 host. The guest is
configured as a dhcp client.
When I snoop in dom0 while the guest boots, I see two back-to-back
DHCPREQUEST packets issued by the guest. The first of the two packets
has an empty UDP checksum; otherwise they seem identical.
Is this a bug?

Patch sensible callback framework
This patch adds a simple callback framework.
Modified loadfile and floadfile to look for callbacks and call them if present
Supports multiple callbacks
Modified com32/modules/linux.c to demonstrate functionality (it's a little more complicated than it should be just to demonstrate multiple callbacks). Add progress argument to display a percentage indicator when loading.

[PATCH 0/1] ipconfig DHCP bug
Hi guys
ipconfig performs not well conformed DHCP client transactions.
This bug does not affect 100% of the DHCP servers as some of
them are more forgiving than others when considering client
side protocol mistakes;
i.e When PXE installing on a VMware Workstation using the VMware DHCP
server plus a proxyDHCP the bug is not present.
When PXE installing on a real PC with a Netgear ISP

Added DHCPINFO Tables to the lua.c32 Implementation - syslinux-4.04
I have never tried submitting a patch for anything previously, didn't know
how to go about it with this particular software project (since the website
has been down) and know little to nothing about git since I am stuck in a
ClearCase world with work.
Please find the previous patch, as an attachment. Sorry it is against 4.04,
I have had no specific reason to update but it should still work.

running dhcp-server on dom0 over a vnic.
Before I post to networking-discuss I wanted to ask if anyone had
tried this on this:
I''m trying to run a dhcp-server on a dom0 over a vnic so that the
domU''s can get IP addresses.
I created a vnic r1 over e1000g0 and gave it a static IP
172.0.94.111/24 so I can run the dhcp server over this vnic.

[PATCH] customize: add --commands-from-file
Pass to --commands-from-file the name of a file containing customization
commands in each line, as if they were specified as command line
arguments.
This eases the reuse of commands among different
builder/customize/sysprep invocations.
