My USB Pendrive gets mounted everytime I put it on the USB port (/dev/sda on /media/usbdisk). This behaviour is the desired. Now I want the OS to automaticaly include the mount option iocharset=iso8859-1 everytime it mounts it. I would like to take a USB pen drive and make it CentOS 4.2 install cdrom 1. I have found the boot image for USB drives or floppies but I want to make my pen drive Install CD 1. Hi I just grabbed an 8gig thumb drive, took disk 1 centos 4 i386, copied the isolinux directory files to my thumbdrive, then ran syslinux -sf /dev/sdc1 on the device plugged it into my laptop and it does not boot. I've got two pendrives. I want to install a Debian on them. RAID1. Ok... ... After I installed it in RAID1, it works perfectly, ok! :) When I pull out one of the pendrive [good pendrive], it still boots up, hurrah :) But: ...
