running dhcp-server on dom0 over a vnic.
Before I post to networking-discuss I wanted to ask if anyone had
tried this on this:
I''m trying to run a dhcp-server on a dom0 over a vnic so that the
domU''s can get IP addresses.
I created a vnic r1 over e1000g0 and gave it a static IP
172.0.94.111/24 so I can run the dhcp server over this vnic.

broadcast packets from domU duplicated?
I''m running a nevada b99 guest on a nevada b99 host. The guest is
configured as a dhcp client.
When I snoop in dom0 while the guest boots, I see two back-to-back
DHCPREQUEST packets issued by the guest. The first of the two packets
has an empty UDP checksum; otherwise they seem identical.
Is this a bug?

do i need posix users/groups in ldap
Hi all, i'm a bit confused,
can i setup samba (3.0.30) with LDAP backend, and have the "posix/local
linux" users and groups
reside in the /etc/groups /etc/shadow ect. ect (the standard linux

Incoming webrtc call succeeds in Firefox but fails in Google Chrome
I am having trouble getting Google Chrome to accept a WebRTC call coming from Asterisk, even though Firefox can (now) accept the same call without issue.
My setup is as follows:
Server:
CentOS 7 x86_64 (Elastix 4 RC) with IP: 10.1.0.4 192.168.5.146

[PATCH 0/1] ipconfig DHCP bug
Hi guys
ipconfig performs not well conformed DHCP client transactions.
This bug does not affect 100% of the DHCP servers as some of
them are more forgiving than others when considering client
side protocol mistakes;
i.e When PXE installing on a VMware Workstation using the VMware DHCP
server plus a proxyDHCP the bug is not present.
When PXE installing on a real PC with a Netgear ISP

IVR Survey
Alright I know how to do basic IVR in *. But what I'm working on trying
to do now is a survey. I've found very little things out there on google
or the archives for how to do surveys with the * ivr.
Here is more or less what I'm trying to accomplish
1. Call comes in Plays Greeting
2. Starts Survey
3. Ask Q1, Record the answer (voice responses) repeat this

Building libvirt for ARM tizen.
Hi there!
I'm building libvirt-1.1.4 on Tizen. I had to modify the spec file:
1. Comment out requirements: xhtml1, scrub, shadow-utils
2. Added defines:
%define _without_selinux 1
%define _without_hal 1
%define _without_libnl 1
%define _without_macvtap 1
%define _without_storage_fs 1
%define _without_network 1

chan_capi
Hi chan_capi users,
this thing is awesome, no delays like in modem_i4l!
Plus, it got those nice ISDN features.
Here's my question:
Does my service provider (Deutsche Telekom) have to provide me with
these Services (CD, ECT)?
(the Readme in 0.2.5 says "does not relay on service CD")
I know, that I don't have CFU,CFNR,CFBS (which I would have to order
seperately).
How likely

Added DHCPINFO Tables to the lua.c32 Implementation - syslinux-4.04
Greetings All.
We wanted to be able to parse the DHCP values and options and write a lua
script based on the information found. We are also using the CPU flags, but
thankfully in at least version 4.04 there is already some CPU value parsing
even if it isn't documented. Using the information from the CPU table we
wanted to be able to choose the kernel to boot. Using the DHCP table

Vorbis Comments ect
Hello,
I'm just letting everyone know that I've begun the preliminary part of
putting together a working comment system. I have a few idea's on how to
implement this system.
1. What I would like to do is grab the General and Input SDK's for Winamp
first. Then I would like to add to our existing Winamp plug-in the ability to
simply add comments via the built in ID tag

Catchall with UserDB?
Hi!
I've set up Postfix with virtual users. I wanted to get Dovecot and LMTP up and running with
Passwd-file UserDB, which they do, but I can't figure out how to make use of a catch-all.
Currently, mail to joe at example.com needs Joe to be in the Passwd-file. I would like
anyone at example.com to go to Joe's mailbox, or actually mail to @example.com should go to Joe. But
what do I

doubt with integrate ()
Dear members,
I'm getting an error with the "integrate" function. Searching in the r-help
archives, I think this may have something to do with the function (it is not
returning a vector but a number), but I don't see exactly what.
The function to integrate was defined with a for loop first:
for (i in 1:(nbcol-1))

Running Perfect World through Wine using Winebottler
I am trying to install the game "Perfect World" (http://pwi.perfectworld.com/download) On my Mac using Wine.
After going through the obnoxious process of installing wine (for me this took forever because I am hugely computer illiterate, but through this process I learned to find info in forums AND use the terminal! Go me!), PW did not work. It installed fine, it would even launch but

I just fixed this one... it seems to be a consequence of merging in the
MOVZX isolinux fix into the firmware branch.
