Syslinux + USB + PE 2.0
I am having the darnedest of times trying to get my WinPE to work off the syslinux loader. I used to use isolinux, and my isolinux config would just invoke the etfsboot.com file which i had renamed to loader.bin, and everything would work just fine off a cd. But now I'm trying to transfer all of my cd functionality to thumbdrives. With Syslinux, i have my syslinux.cfg file calling loader.bin

PXE booting Dell diagnostics
Hello! I like to PXE boot the 'Dell 32 Bit Diagnostics' tool. I can create a harddisk image with the linux download package. The README of the Package gives an example how to create an memdisk entry for the pxelinux menu system: <quote> Create a Bootable HDD Image File Use of the resulting image to perform a Preboot Execution Environment (PXE) boot into the diagnostics

[LLVMdev] libclang JIT frontend
Hi, I'm not sure if this is a libclang, llvm::cl or clang-interpreter issue so I'll try posting here for a response. I am using libclang as a frontend to the LLVM JIT (3.3 release). I started from the clang-interpreter example and have everything working (given a C/C++ source file I can have it JIT'd to memory and executed) for a single run. When I try to compile a second source

Snom side car annoyance
Has anyone got this annoying sidecar to illuminate when users are on the phone? In my function key settings I have: Context: Active Type: Extension Number: <sip:4000@serve.address.com;user=phone> (4000 is the extension I want to see/dial on the key). I can press the key and it will dial the extension, it just won't illuminate when the user is on the phone or on DND Since I have

SPA-3000 Bug? Dropped calls while registering.
Hello All! I am in the process of assembling an asterisk-based phone system for my office - using SPA-3000s to connect the network to the PSTN. I am wondering if anybody else can get (or has already seen) the same behaviour out of their 3000. The short version: Send multiple Calls to the SPA's FXO port at the same time it is re-registering with Asterisk. SPA HTTP Configuration:

OT: Snom 300 losing config?
Hi, I've had a Snom 300 connected to my Asterisk box at home for 12 months or so now. Recently it lost all its settings and I had to reconfigure it via the built in website. For a few weeks it was fine. Couple of days ago it lost its settings again. I logged in to its web server and thought I would upgrade the firmware. It seems to be running an old version: Phone Type: snom300-SIP

Accessing sub diagonals / spdiag in R ?
Hello, I'm attempting to access a specific number of sub diagonals in a MATRIX and have been accustomed to using spdiags in MATLAB or Octave. I've got a solution pieced together using for loops and it works though isn't vectorized and liable to run very slow for large matrices. As an example: A = 1 2 3 4 5 9 8 7 6 5 4 5 6 7 8 5 4 3 2 1 8 7 6 0 1 The subdiagonals are: 9,5,3,0 4,4,6

codec preference
Need some help understanding codec preferences: I have 2 asterisk servers. Server 1 sends calls to the PSTN and has allow=g729 allow=gsm and allow=ulaw in iax.conf Server 2 receives calls and routes them to server 1. It has the same allow lines. We receive calls from a phone co and route them via server 2 to server 1. The calls originate in g729 and everything works fine. Now I want to take
