SYSLINUX 3.32-pre7 release candidate
I'm going to promote SYSLINUX 3.32-pre7 to release candidate unless
someone objects, with the intent of releasing 3.32 immediately after
Christmas. Please let me know if there are problems that should make me
*not* do so, even if you have previously reported them.

SYSLINUX 3.55-pre5 and 3.60-pre7 - RC status
Hi all,
I have just pushed out SYSLINUX 3.55-pre5 and 3.60-pre7. I have decided
to give them both release candidate status, with the intent of having a
simultaneous 3.55 (bug fixes only) and 3.60 (new functionality) release.
Please test them out and let me know how they do.

Syslinux 6.03-pre7: EFI64 broken (Gene Cumm)
Still interested in pre-compiled binaries for 6.03-pre6.
But my comment about 6.02 TFTP brokenness may speak more to my lack of
understanding of the TFTP protocol than to any pxelinux 6.02 code problems.
It seems that when TFTP sends an OACK back to syslinux.efi, it sends it
from another port than 69. So, it seems to be opening a data connection
back to the TFTP client off an ephemeral port.

Syslinux 6.03-pre7: EFI64 broken (Gene Cumm)
Gene,
Where did you find the precompiled binaries for syslinux 6.03-pre7?
Actually, I'm interested in the pre-compiled binaries for syslinux
6.03-pre6.
I went out to kernel.org, but the latest they have is 6.02. Which appears
to have an endian problem in its TFTP client code (when syslinux.efi tries
to connect to the TFTP server, attempts to connect to UDP port 17664
instead of 69).

SYSLINUX 3.36-pre6 (release candidate)
I have, hopefully, found and fixed the issue with non-kernel binaries
that appeared in 3.35. As a result, I have pushed out 3.36-pre6 and am
classifying it as a release candidate. Please try it out, especially if
you have had problems with 3.35.

SYSLINUX 3.11-pre8 -- release candidate
I have released SYSLINUX 3.11-pre8; this is a release candidate.
The differences versus -pre6 is that I have reverted the PXELINUX stack
changes I did in SYSLINUX 3.10 since there are confirmed reports that
they break at least one platform.
As before, I hope to release 3.11 on Tuesday unless I get objections.

Last call for Syslinux 3.81
I have just pushed out Syslinux 3.81-pre7; the only delta over -pre6 is
a small change to meminfo.c32. I expect to make a 3.81 release probably
early next week, so this is a last call notice.
If you have any outstanding issues, or you have tests you want to do and
want some more time (Dag - I know you said you were going to try to do
some tests over the weekend), please speak up *now*.

SYSLINUX 3.35-pre5 released -- release candidate
Hi all,
I have released SYSLINUX 3.35-pre5 to the Testing directory; this is a
release candidate and I intend to release this as 3.35 early next week
unless I hear of any showstopper bugs, so please, pretty please, try it out.

kernel.org has been overloaded lately, so it might take a while to show up.

SYSLINUX 2.10-pre6 is now release candidate
I have decided to make SYSLINUX 2.10-pre6 a release candidate. Please
test it out if you can; if it works OK I will release it as 2.10 some
time in the middle of the week.
Thanks!

SYSLINUX 3.20-pre7 pushed out, with mboot fixes
Hi all,
I have merged Tim's patches to the mboot loader, and have pushed it out
as 3.20-pre7.
I guess I'm going to actually have to make a 3.20 here soon...

SYSLINUX 3.72-pre7: getting close
I just uploaded SYSLINUX 3.72-pre7. I'm hoping this will be the final
3.72 prerelease. Please test it and holler if something is (still) broken.

Still interested in pre-compiled binaries for 6.03-pre6
Most excellent! The pre-compiled syslinux6.03-pre6 binaries work great!
I'm able to load syslinux.efi and all necessary support libs. I get my
expected syslinux boot menu.
I've used syslinux 5 / vesamenu for yrs (Legacy PXE boots). So
I know my way around from here.
Thanks Gene & Feri.
And thanks Peter, for making me feel better -- it's the TFTP protocol
that's bizarre, I

Syslinux 3.80-pre7
I have just pushed out Syslinux 3.80-pre7. I am slightly concerned
about putting this into the release tree at this point: I was working
with some of the shuffler code, and found that the memory map handling
was actually severely buggy on some of my test cases. Resolving that
problem took rewriting most of syslinux_add_memmap().
However, against better judgement :) I decided to check in the

SYSLINUX 3.62-pre7: no more 64K limit on CLI labels
3.62 is shaping up to be the "let's get rid of hardcoded limits"
release. I got inspired by Bryan Perry's post about people still
wanting to be able to use the CLI, so I have implemented putting labels
in high memory, therefore avoiding the 64K total limit.
This is now released as 3.62-pre7. If you happen to have a use case for
this, I would be interested in finding out

Syslinux 6.03-pre7: EFI64 broken
Using both a disk load and netboot, the precompiled binaries of
Syslinux 6.03-pre7 for EFI64 appear broken. Testing 6.03-pre6 on the
same system results in a successful boot.
This does not appear to affect the BIOS architecture and likely
affects EFI32 also.

SYSLINUX 3.54-pre1 (bug fix release candidate)
I just uploaded SYSLINUX 3.54-pre1.
This is a release candidate, since it fixes a bug which I considers
significant. As it turns out, the problem with the graphical menu under
Qemu/KVM (requiring -std-vga) was actually an invalid assumption that
SYSLINUX was making, and didn't verify. Fixing the assumption was easy
enough to do, so I have fixed it.
Added is also a new set of menu

SYSLINUX 1.75-pre7 released - FINAL 1.75-pre
I have just released SYSLINUX 1.75-pre7. Barring any showstopper bugs,
this WILL be the final 1.75, so please test if out, and if you find
problems speak now or forever hold your pizza.
After 1.75 is out I'm going to be spending most of my time on the new
2.00 release.

SYSLINUX 2.08-pre7 released
Hi all,
I have released SYSLINUX 2.08-pre7. This version rate-limits the ARP
polling in PXELINUX; it turns out that it was giving people using
automatic control via serial console a real headache since it caused
PXELINUX to drop characters.
As usual, I'd really appreciate any and all testing.
