error building php spec file
Hi. Which CentOS version you using? If it is CentOS 6 then instead of building it from source, you can use IUS repo which has latest php packages. Below is the link for the packages in IUS repo for CentOS 6. <http://dl.iuscommunity.org/pub/ius/stable/Redhat/6/x86_64/repoview/> --Regards Ashishkumar S. error building php spec file
Hey all, I'm attempting to build a spec file of php 5.6.7 - the latest stable - into an rpm. And it's failing with this set of errors: Processing files: php-5.6.7-1.el7.x86_64 warning: File listed twice: /etc/rc.d/init.d/php-fpm error: Symlink points to BuildRoot: /usr/bin/phar -> /home/bluethundr/rpmbuild/BUILDROOT/php-5.6.7-1.el7.x86_64/usr/bin/phar.phar warning: File listed twice:

The rpm target was added after 1.8 was released so I guess you're not using CVS version. I also made several changes to the spec file which you might be interested in. The current version is attached. Reid. [LLVMdev] Fedora Core 5 package
Hi, Is anyone working on getting LLVM into Fedora Extras? This would allow anyone with FC-5 or greater to simply "yum install llvm" without any other preparation. If no one here is working on this, I can start the Fedora Extras new package process, which should only take a few weeks to complete. LLVM has been on my "planned packages" list for a while now. Thanks, Adam

PXE looping on localboot
I have seen posts about this problem, but have had trouble finding how/if it was resolved. I am trying to upgrade from syslinux-3.11 to syslinux-3.86 on RHEL5. On 3.86, when it performs a local boot from hard disk, it just keeps looping back into PXE boot again instead of booting from the hard disk. It will perform a system install just fine, but when it switches to localboot after the install,

Iptables Rpm Missing Modules
The current build of iptables does not appear to include some modules. Among these are ipt_recent.so, a very handy module in deflecting the current flurry of sshd dictionary attacks. Lineox appears to have the same problem. This is because the RedHat source rpm spec file is not explicit in the kernel directory location and that omission affects these few modules. Can anyone compile mtr source RPM on CentOS 6.7?
Hi all, I was trying to rebuild mtr (http://vault.centos.org/6.7/os/Source/SPackages/mtr-0.75-5.el6.src.rpm) and I keep getting: ==== Executing(%install): /bin/sh -e /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.gu9Ds0 + umask 022 + cd /root/rpmbuild/BUILD + '[' /root/rpmbuild/BUILDROOT/mtr-0.75-5.el6.x86_64 '!=' / ']' + rm -rf /root/rpmbuild/BUILDROOT/mtr-0.75-5.el6.x86_64 ++ dirname

Cannot install 'libdcrypt_openssl.la' to a directory not ending in /usr/lib/dovecot
Hi, For some reason I've never been able to build x64 dovecot rpm package, no matter how I try, I'm still getting lib64 errors, first tried few years on centos 5, ok I know this is old distro, then few years tried with centos 6 (and wrote here also - CentOS x64 compilation fails), supported distro, no luck, now installed centos 7 and still no luck, so seems it's not about centos or

Cannot install 'libdcrypt_openssl.la' to a directory not ending in /usr/lib/dovecot
Well, but not for centos 5 and also these rpm are including a lot stuff what I don't need. But I will check the src rpm -s from repo and diff these specs with my current ones. Can anyone compile mtr source RPM on CentOS 6.7?
I'm not surprised, given that it is in the repo. That's why I was asking if anyone tried building it themselves and, if so, did they have the same issue as I describe below? Alternatively, any tips/advice on solving my build issue would be helpful. digimer On 07/03/16 07:29 PM, Nux! wrote: > It built just fine in mock, results here > http://li.nux.ro/download/nux/tmp/mtr6/ >

Re: How libvirt interacts with dhcpd?
Thanks for the reply Laine. My problem is that dnsmasq is masking dhcpd, xCAT uses dhcpd for PXE stuff. If dnsmasq answer DHCP requests the PXE boot won' t work. I want to see the logs for ensuring the dnsmasq is not masking dhcpd. Regards, 2018-06-18 11:39 GMT-03:00 Laine Stump <laine@redhat.com>: > On 06/18/2018 09:16 AM, Daniel. wrote: >> Cool, thanks!!
