bug(?) in 2.11
Hi! I write this config line: kernel /boot/i386/vmlinuz ro ramdisk=32768 root=/dev/ram0 init=/linuxrc but when I try to boot I got this mesasge: Could not find kernel image: /boot/i.386/ Same symptomes are with slash and backslash too. I think, the parses don't understand the directory separator characters and count as the part of filename. ps Sorry for my english -- Gabor HALASZ

Segfault at reboot caused by pciback.hide
Hi! I created a dedicated driver domain on my opteron machine (xen-3.0.2-3, changeset: 9762:1e225598ce82, 2.6.16.28, Debian Sid), and I discovered an interesting segfault at the last step of reboot: when the kernel flush out the md devices (raid1) the kernel prints the stack dump and reboot immidietly. After rebooting, the state of first md deveice is clean, but the second md device is dirty

dual-head xen question
Hi! Can I use my 2nd vga card (and 2nd keyboard and mouse) in domU? I tried to hide the additional card from dom0 and exported into domU, but I got console messages from domU in xen console, not on the 2nd monitor. What can I do? How can I disable the console redirection from domU? Thanks -- Gabor HALASZ <halasz.g@freemail.hu> _______________________________________________ Xen-users

Problem with memdisk and DOS on USB
I'm new to memdisk and I wanted to have multiple floppy boot images on my USB key, I installed GRUB2 as the boot loader and have memdisk in /syslinux and my images in /image, I first tried booting normal images, memtest86+ works, my linux kernel work and they boot perfectly. memdisk and booting DOS images
Hello, I seemed to have encountered a problem with memdisk that I have seen before when I was playing around with USB device booting at one time. Here's the scenario: Take fx a image of a PC DOS bootable diskette. Boot the image via memdisk. This should boot fine if you use the built-in motherboard ide controllers (ide0,ide1). Now install a PCI IDE controller and put one IDE disk on the

memdisk locks when loading imz dos image
I have been using memdisk (version 3.82) with no problem. I use it to boot my x86 computer with a compressed image I created/modified from an original DOS floppy bootable diskette. The original size of the image is 2.44 MB. I tried memdisk (version 3.83) and the bootable image gets uncompressed, bu the computer locks up and the las two lines in my screen are: Loading Boot Sector... Booting...

pxegrub + memdisk + dos + undi
I have an image of a dos floppy that loads the undi driver from 3com and mounts an smb share. This works great with pxelinux(from syslinux) and memdisk I need to make it work with pxegrub so we can use menus. (or figure out a menu system for pxelinux) With pxegrub I use memdisk as the kernel and load the dos image as a ramdisk. The undi driver loads and doesn't complain but, the network is

Re: pxegrub + memdisk + dos + undi
In our testing, pxelinux and Dos UNDI is much more stable than pxegrub with ten different nic drivers compiled in. The only thing holding us back on using pxelinux for all of our tftp images is the lack of a menu system. We are very close to buying a proprietary software but, I would much rather use an open source type solution. It should be possible to write some comboot code
