isolinux 3.10-pre20 doesn't work at all
I tried isolinux 3.10-pre20 on an Acer Aspire 1501LMi notebook and a Shuttle FS-40 desktop box; it fails on both, simply hanging after printing the first line. Last known good version is 3.10-pre16; will try pre17-pre19 when I have some time.

SIS900 NIC [on board], pay some attention, please !
Hello there ! I was writing to freebsd lists some time ago, again asking for some help about SIS900 NIC. Then some other people also complained that the sis900 driver that comes with FreeBSD 4.x and FreeBSD-CURRENT (later 5.0) doesn't actually work at all. So some patches were released and also the drivers in -STABLE and -CURRENT were also updated. And guess what, it is still not working on

Syslinux 4.10-pre20
I think I finally have nailed down the problems with TFTP on the 4.10 branch, and so I have released 4.10-pre20. Please let me know if you have hardware on which 4.05/4.06-pre3 works, and 4.10-pre20 does not. -hpa -- H. Peter Anvin, Intel Open Source Technology Center I work for Intel. Where can we buy SIS900 NIC online in USA ?
Hello everybody: Since sis900 chip has the problem with pxelinux simple menu (menu.c32, for version 3.0.7 to 3.10) as we posted in http://syslinux.zytor.com/archives/2005-August/005636.html We'd like to buy sis900 network card and send it to HPA so that he might give it a try if he has time to do that. We live in Taiwan, so the best way is that we can buy it online in USA and put HPA as the

Please release 6.03
Hi, the current 6.03~pre20 works great, can you please "finally" release this as 6.03? time is running out for Debian and I'd really like to avoid putting 6.03~pre20 labeled as such in Debian 8 (jessie). Regards, Daniel

3.86-pre1 gpxelinux.0 SIS900 long boot time / fails to boot / no entries in tftp server log
Okay guys, This is separate from my last few messages. Along with those attempts, I decided to migrate from pxelinux.0 to gpxelinux.0 in my existing setup. Admittedly I haven't tried previous gpxelinux.0's but I am willing to if someone thinks it would be useful. Everything works as expected with pxelinux.0 of the same version. With gpxelinux.0: TFTP Prefix: Trying to load:

Syslinux 4.00-pre20: stabilization phase begins
Hi all, I have pushed out Syslinux 4.00-pre20, which includes support for running out of a new working directory: if a directory is given on the append line to a "config" statement, that will now be considered the new working directory. The "pathbased" branch is now the active development branch for Syslinux 4. With this checkin, I now expect that the major restructuring

pxelinux efi64 boot woes on hyper-v gen 2
Gene, As it happened I started working on this again just as you mailed me. It appears that PXE-E99 may also be related to MTFTP part of the PXE spec. IBM also says it has something to do with jumbo frames. I tried setting PXE.mtcp-ip to 0.0.0.0 to disable it but still no joy. The bootfile size shows up as zero because that relates to "option boot-size" in dhcp and doesn't seem to

Hello Syslinux Team, What actions are _supposed_ to be triggered by each of: [Ctrl-J] [Ctrl-M] in the Syslinux command line in version 6.03-pre20? Are there any differences between CLI and [vesa]menu.c32 regarding these keystroke combinations? Are there any differences in their behaviors when booting with different Syslinux variants (e.g ISOLINUX vs. SYSLINUX vs. PXELINUX)? To be
