AGI stream file
Hi
I have created a rudimentary perl script that does most of what I want
but occasionally in seems that a file will not play. I see the
message getting sent to Asterisk but no reply to say that it
completed. In fact, the very next SAY DATE command works and
everything after that but the previous message seems to be ignored.
In addition, I found in one case that I had to read to STDIN

iP0020 Phone busy signal all the time.
Hello to you all. Just got my first iP0020 phone and no matter what I do to
it when I try to call I get a busy signal even though Asterisk and the phone
web gui shows that the phone is "registered".
Has any body had any similar experience with this type of phone (or nay
phone)?

Story of an email
I'm running postfix + dovecot on my CentOS server,
together with amavisd, clamd and spamassassin,
following the instructions in
<http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/postfix>.
As far as I can see it is all working,
but I must admit I'm not clear exactly what path
an incoming email travels along.
I asked this question before, and someone suggested
a document I should read,
but unfortunately

The 7 rules listed in this URL seem utterly bizarre to me.
The first is "Don't use a palindrome"
which makes me wonder if the author knows the meaning of this word.
I suspect he/she thinks

Meetme with moderator
All,
I have been beating my head against a wall trying to figure out how I would
implement a separate moderator code and participant code for the same
conference using meetme, the deal is I dont want the participants to be able
to join until the moderator is in the conference.
Is it possible to do this using the apps as they are , or is their a way to
use an Agi script, is that the only way?

FW: Your message to Icecast awaits moderator approval
Hello there,
You sent me the below email a couple of days ago and, as I haven't yet
received any moderator notice that my post was rejected ... I assume it
actually *has* been posted.
I would therefore like to see my post - and see if it has attracted any
responses.
But I need you to tell me how to see my post on the xiph site (as I cannot
find any instructions how to get to it).
Thank

Source for OpenVox cards?
Hi
I am looking for a source for an OpenVox card. Has anyone purchased through
http://www.voiplink.com or do you normally use another vendor or OpenVox.cn
directly?
thanks
Tim

city<-data.frame(city="Barcelona",cod=1)
city<-rbind(city,data.frame(city="Madrid",cod=2))

OT Gmane and r-help moderator approval
I have started to read r-help on Gmane using Thunderbird as a reader.
Before that I had messages sent to gmail account.
The first post through Gmane needed moderator approval, but then I got a
message from
Your friendly autoauthorizer at Gmane.org
saying
You are now authorized to post to the
gmane.comp.lang.r.general newsgroup.
But my messages are still needing moderator approval, which I

FW: Your message to Icecast awaits moderator approval
You posted this message to the list, I'm not a mod and I can read it.
For March, I do not see any other post made by you.
It clearly says WHY your post was rejected:
"Message body is too big: 59787 bytes with a limit of 40 KB"
I suspect this was an automated action.
Re-write your original post so that it isn't too large (likely caused
by attachments), and re-send it.

Moderator on vacation?
OK,
I'm trying to send an email to the list the contiune a thread which
describes a problem I'm having. This particualy email I wish to send
contains an ls -l describing my problem (too many open files) and is
apparently too large to be considered a "normal" post, so I get a
message that it's being held until a moderator can view it.
Fine.
So now I get an autoresponder

Thank you very much for your email, DT.
Yes, I did see that msg about taking up too many bytes ? but I never received the promised email from the mods, telling me it had been rejected! So I assumed it had been posted ? and wanted to read the thread.
My problem is ? I cannot see how to read Icecast threads.
Any advice?
Rgds,
Andrew

Hi,
It is not important how long I have been moderator for this mailinglist.
Thing is that I'm thinking about stepping back.
How would like to help the Syslinux project by moderating this ML?
