Is there a howto guide somewhere on how to get Samba (as a server) working with a Windows XP client? I'm using a binary Samba server package for LRP (Samba version 2.0.4b), and while it works fine with Windows 2000 and Mac OS X 10.2.X, I can't get a Windows XP Embedded client to connect. I can just be sittting, doing nothing, and I hear the sound of my hardrive head moving. Just every so often. Like some process is writing a log. I have looked in /var/log and do see occational updates to acpi and messages, but that does not account for all the clicks. Is there somewhere else to look for logs?
