Dovecot 1.2.9 Crash, NFS
Hi, I'm stuck with a problem we have with dovecot. My suspicion is, that it has to do with accessing the same mailbox/mail stored on a NFS-share from two machines at the same time. setup We have to mail servers running, both run a Ubuntu 10.04, Postfix 2.70 and Dovecot 1.2.9. The mailboxes are stored in maildir format on a NFS-Share. In front of those to mail servers we have a load

ACL with IMAP proxying
Hello, I'm trying to use ACLs to restrict subscription on public mailboxes, but I went into trouble. My setup is made of two servers, and users are shared between them via a proxy. User authentication is done with LDAP, and credentials aren't shared between the mailservers. Instead, the proxies are using master password. The thing is that when the ACLs are checked, it actually doesn't

Store outgoing mail in users mailbox
This might be a MTA question, but because I use Dovecot as an LDA, maybe some can help me here. Our users would like that outgoing mail is automatically saved in some folder, say Sent. We use Postfix with virtual domains, Maildir and Dovecot+Sieve as LDA. Outgoing mail is relayed by our imap-server (with authentification of course, no open relay). Most people seem to advice Postfix

Moving mails from shared folder to shared folder doesn't work
Hi, having the attached configuration with Dovecot 2.2.9, Dovecot's crashing when moving a mail from a shared folder into another shared folder. Moving that mail into a "real" folder of the user or moving that mail from a real folder into the shared folder is always working. But moving from a shared folder into a shared folder doesn't work. general protection and other errors
Hi, I'm having a problem with a fedora15 x86_64 host with a fedora15 x86_64 guest on a Xeon E3-1240 with 8GB RAM on the guest. This is the only guest. The server is configured as a mail server, using spamassassin, postfix, amavisd, and clamav. It was previously running without error on different hardware. I migrated the disks to a more powerful server due to load. It's a new server, and

general protection errors
Hi, Some time ago I sent a message about some general protection errors, and didn't receive a response. I hoped I could post again and that someone might have some ideas. I really don't think it is a hardware problem producing these errors, but am otherwise out of ideas.
