Two small issues after upgrade to 4.2
I made a yum update to 4.2 yesterday. The first "major" update I did on CentOS, I'm only using it for a few weeks now, starting with 4.1. Mainly for evaluation for a prospected migration from Suse to CentOS. Basically the update went very well, fast (only 180 MB needed to be installed) and smooth. But there were two small issues where I don't know why they happened: 1.

Yum thing
Hi, As there is no (decent) way to specify a particular repo for an particular package with yum, I'm having an odd problem: Although the version numbers differ, I have 2 spamassassin pkgs in different repo's (updates and my own addons) which are seen as updates to eachother: jelsum:/root-# tail -11 /var/log/yum.log Sep 02 04:26:34 Installed: perl-Mail-SpamAssassin.i386 3.1.0-1 Sep 02

EL4 and spamassassin info
greetings, have been google foo for week or so. used to be super easy to upgrade spamassassin on CentOS dist. just grab the tarball and put in right spot and rpmbuild -tb spamassassin-3.somethingsomething.tar.gz then rpm or yum install and done would take just a few minutes. Yet... in regards to EL4 / CentOS 4 and spamassassin, it appears the end of the road for .spec in SA tarball

ant RPM for CentOS 4
Attempting to build OpenOffice 2 on CentOS 4 from rawhide (future FC5) SRPM. The spec file has EL4 target (which is nice), and I got almost all dependencies in place (mostly from 4.2beta and some from rawhide). However, I'm missing the ant package. Ant from rawhide doesn't compile since it is already gcc 4 based (fails on dependencies, getting it to use gcc4 instead of gcc seems like

Python/sqlite date time problems.
Bear with me, this is CentOS related. :) I have a python CGI that's behaving weirldy on Whitebox systems that've been switched over to CentOS 4 (ages ago, no other problems to speak of aside from this one). I've broken the problem down to a minimal test case... 1. Create a small database # sqlite3 /tmp/testcase.db 'CREATE TABLE testtable ( date date primary key unique, name

pam_abl for CentOS 3?
I'm looking for an RPM (SRPM is OK) for pam_abl, suitable for installation on a CentOS 3.5 system. I've googled without identifying one I'm confident of. Would the one for Fedora 3 be expected to work? If not, what?
