Gsoc: SWIG-based Java Bindings
Hello all, I am interested in the project: SWIG-based java bindings. It says a few things of Java bindings generated by SWIG don't work. Could you point out which particular part does not work? -- Best Regards, Sabrina -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Status of the java-swig bindings?
I just get the latest version of Xapian 1.2.2 and see that the Java bindings still aren't in a package. Do these work? I am trying to hack them into a package but I can't find where the actual swig -java command is being executed from to add the -package command. Any ideas? -- Jarrod Roberson www.vertigrated.com/blog

NetBeans and Java Bindings
Hello, I was wondering if anyone has succeeded in getting the Java bindings to work with NetBeans, in order to make use of NetBeans's GUI developer. I've had no luck so far, does anyone know how to do that? Many thanks.

java-swig TermIterator
Hello, Been using Xapian and the Java bindings for years, all was working great, and I all of a sudden decided to upgrade to the latest 1.2.12 and use the new java-swig bindings instead of the old hand-crafted JNI which I think have been deprecated now. I'm struggling with the new design of the TermIterator. More specifically, I can't tell when I've reached the end of the list of

java bindings 1.0.0 - jni.h not found
Hi all, I am new to Xapian and want to use it with Java. In order to do that I tried to compile the Java bindings. I set XAPIAN_CONFIG and invoked "configure". However "./configure --with-java" exits with an error. Point of failure: checking for jni.h... no checking for jni.h in /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.5.0-sun/include... no checking for jni.h in

mysql phone number pattern match query
Does anyone have a mysql query that will compare a number from the asterisk cdr to a table of international country+city codes to determine the closest match? The two fields are; 1. [LLVMdev] convert java to c by llvm
Hi, my c++ code have to call some functions coded by java. In the beginning, I call those functions by jni. Unfortunately, jni has lots of performance loss, so it can't meets my needs. I wandor if I can convert these java codes to c/c++ by llvm. First, I convert java words to llvm bytecode, then covert llvm bytecodes to c/c++. I am a green hand of LLVM and compilers. So tt's very

Java?
I'd be happy to (help) port the source to Java. How many lines of code are we talking? If preferable, I could just do a front-end to a JNI interface to flac. -Brian > -----Original Message----- > From: Josh Coalson [mailto:xflac@yahoo.com] > > --- "Cracauer, David D." <dcracauer@vue.com> wrote: > > Are there any plans for flac for java (JNI or

ExpandDecider and MatchDecider operator() return type
Currently ExpandDecider::operator() and MatchDecider::operator() return `int' for no very good reason that I can see. It would be more natural to return `bool', since these classes are making a "yes/no" decision about whether to include a term in an ESet or a document in an MSet. The problem is that this can't be done without breaking existing user code which defines

[LLVMdev] Introducing myself, and Java project.
You probably want to sit down and have a long talk with Jeroen Frijters, the principal behind the IKVM project. Note that you will have to deal with ClassLoaders at some level, regardless of what you'd prefer. > A more obvious problem is, of course, that it is not possible to > compile Java code statically and save the result in the disk. > That is untrue--last time I checked, gcj

Questions on libguestfs-java
Hi, When using the libguestfs-java bindings, java.library.path should point to the place the JNI stuff resides in. In [1] it was suggested to set it to /usr/local/lib but apparently, it is deployed elsewhere in other distributions, right? so I wonder what is the recommended way of setting it in a Java application that could execute on various distributions. Additionally, the libguestfs-java

upsclient high level API and Java wrapping
Hi all, on proposal by Arnaud Quette and sponsored by Eaton, I will work on a port on Java of client, discovery and config API. As I have already suggested (mail of 2011-06-14 of this ml), instead of developping another port of nut protocol, I suggest to develop a higher level API in C/C++ uppon existing upsclient, inspirated by existing C-based tools and python and perl rewrites. R Java compile problem
Hi folks: I'm trying to update my JGR and related packages, but run into a compile problem, that I suspect must be affecting others. I get this output when compiling rJava, JavaGD, etc.: ## checking Java support in R... present: interpreter : '/usr/bin/java' cpp flags : '' java libs : '-L/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk/jre/lib/amd64/server

R and Java 10 ➜ rJava not able to build
I am not a Mac user, but I do use Linux and I would recommend not running R with sudo unless you are an admin ninja. That defensive practice would render the answer to your question moot. It is possible that your problem may have started with inappropriate use of sudo in configuring java, but configuring Java is not on-topic here. -- Sent from my phone. Please excuse my brevity. [RFC] fuse: mount_local: Fix crash when called from Java binding
"localmountpoint" parameter is allocated in JNI before calling mount_local and freed afterward. But guestfs handle keeps reference to passed "localmountpoint" argument and will try to use and free it in umount_local which leads to a crash because an attempt to access already freed memory region. It is not easy to fix on JNI side because the code is auto-generated. And I

calling dovecot exported auth from Java
As far as I have been able to figure out, dovecot auth always works over a Unix domain socket. I believe it is not currently possible to operate dovecot auth over an Internet domain (TCP) socket. Am I correct? I want to call dovecot's exported authentication from a Java application. Java doesn't natively know how to talk to a Unix domain socket, so there are inconveniences. There
