The first question is simply: is there a higher-resolution R logo available than the one at r-developer.org? (or the modified one provided by useR conference pages) Next: what are the chances of someone in the "R management" setting up a cafepress.com "R

Thank you very much, this one I found I meant the other logos. Unfortunately there is no link to the other logos .svg or .ai format. Do you have a clue or how I could contact the creator of this logo? Thanks again for your patience. greetings, dex 2015-08-15 0:27 GMT+02:00 Ted Kremenek <kremenek at apple.com>: > There is a link to the Adobe Illustrator Version at the bottom of the

A new logo for HDT
Hey, The HDT project is more and more active and tend to bring new releases as often as possible. We are on a good track for releasing HDT 0.3.5 in a few days. Beside of that, we are trying to give this project a dedicated identity. The first step is having a 'cool' logo that represent HDT. This work will lead to - give some shine on our website (http://hdt-project.org) ;) - a

tshirt design needed
I've copied vorbis@xiph on this message simply because it will be interesting there, but also to give those who haven't yet subscribed to the advocacy list a taste of the things that (should) happen there. As you know we are planning to sell vorbis shirts, both to promote the vorbis format and to raise some money for the Xiph.org Foundation. I have been talking to an online retailer

Axes labels, greek letters and spaces
Hello all, I can't seem to figure how to use a greek character in expression() in plot() labels without adding a space. So for example below when plotting this out x<-1:10 plot(x,x^2, xlab=expression(Chlorophyll~italic(a)~mu~g~cm^-2)) the axis label read as μ g cm^-2 because I have space there with a tilda. But if I remove the tilda then my units are mug cm^-2. Can anyone recommend a

Reading graphics files
Is there a tool for reading a graphics file into an object? I might not be looking with the correct vocabulary, but I'm finding lots of references to producing graphics from R, but not any for inputting graphics into R. I'd like to use a jpeg image and have the data available in R for analysis. I could convert the image to another format, PPM perhaps, and parse that in, GRASS seems like

Very Cool.........Asterisk Made Wired Magazine
Hi Guys, The article "They've Got Your number" in the Dec 2004 issue of WIRED magazine mentions Asterisk PBX (on p.100). The article is about phone phreaks hijacking cell phones with Bluetooth technology along with spoofing CID to pull some clandestine hacks on the PSTN. Anyhow, Asterisk is mentioned as the PBX of choice for an outfit: Telephreaks.org out of Florida that has built
