FeedTools syntax question
http://www.mozdex.com/open.jsp?query=webhosting&start=10
in the above feed, can anyone tell me how to access the
openSearch:totalResults element using feed tools? I can access the other
elements, but I''m unsure what special meaning the colon carries or how to
work with such items in feedtools
thanks in advance

Problem with stemming and AAF
I''m sure I''m missing something completely obvious here, so I hope
someone can point me in the right direction!
I''ve implemented a basic search with AAF, which works as expected; I''m
running a ferret drb server, and using will_paginate to page results.
The code in my search_controller.rb:

Hi Noel,
As we discussed on the list, I busy getting the bits and pieces in place
to be able to test your windows search work.
I am running all my stuff on Debian Bullseye, with Samba code in 3
lxc-containers. Two are for the DCs, one is the fileserver. Everything
is managed by Ansible code, I try to avoid manual changes to my
environment(s) as much as possible. Generally manual changes are

Hi Olly. Thanks for your reply to the previous email.
To have an appropriate subject I've started this new thread for further

Spotlight indexing with fscrawler for multiple shares
Hey Kees,
fs2es-indexer is designed to be a lightweight alternative to FSCrawler.
So no ... it doesnt do any content indexing or saves much of the metadata.
As far as I understand it the OCR and other stuff makes FScrawler that
big. And we dont need any of that - we just want to search for file names.
BUT Im open for merge requests ;-)
I currently getting away with a lot less complexity

Loop problem
Dear all, I have a problem with a loop, if anyone has any knowledge on
these things I would appreciate some comments. The code below is
designed to allow me to extract the top record of the data frame, and
them remove rows from the data frame which have an index close to the
extracted top record.

Status of Windows Search Protocol support in Samba?
I've been trying to Google this but have not found any definitive
answers. Does Samba currently support Windows Search Protocol[1]?
I did find these lecture slides from a few years ago (five years?) but
they don't tell me about the current status:

[LLVMdev] Possible bug in LiveIntervalAnalysis?
Hi
I'm seeing something probably related to this. I'm getting an assert
from the lower_bound in LiveIntervals::findLiveinMBBs (from a checking
std:: VS2005 implementation). Idx2MBBMap has two elements in it, both
of which have a .first of 0. (I believe because of an empty MBB in the
function below, so StartIndex doesn't advance).

Can you file a bug so I don't forget? I'm a little occupied right now.
But I'll take care of this soon.

Logging the click data

I thought we needed a new template only for the second log file? To
generate the first log file using the existing $log command, I have
introduced another $log command in query template that looks like:

Yes, you are right; it is the query template. The reason I said opensearch
template is that I haven't quite read all sections of the Omega docs and I'm
still in the process. Thanks for pointing that out.

Carrot2
Carrot2 - the clustering engine has a ready to use integration with the
Lucene index. http://project.carrot2.org/architecture.html.
Does anyone know whether this would work with the Ferret index as
standard?
Thanks

Do we really need Solr commit as cronjob?
I am testing Solr FTS on dovecot. Read online that some suggested to run
cronjob commit every minute, and optimize once a day.
I am using Solr 7.1.0 and I see some configurations:
In /etc/default/solr.in.sh:
#SOLR_OPTS="$SOLR_OPTS -Dsolr.autoSoftCommit.maxTime=3000"
#SOLR_OPTS="$SOLR_OPTS -Dsolr.autoCommit.maxTime=60000"
Also in solrconfig.xml:

partially sum variable of a dataframe
Hello,
A stupid question:
I have an array with two columns, the first "a" acting as my index in 0.25 steps, the second one "b" the column of interest. How can i sum up "b" only for a specified window in "a" (as the window command for time series)
a=seq(0,10,0.25)
b=runif(41)
c=data.frame(a,b)
Sum up c if 3<a<5.25
How to do that? thanks
