Error: FETCH [1] for mailbox badbox UID 1 got too little data: 2 vs 4 (fwd)
Hi all, Any thoughts about this error? Should I file a bug report somewhere? Cheers, Chris. Migrating to mdbox
Hi all, I think it would be a good idea for me to move from mbox to mdbox, as I have 57,000 messages in my inbox, and clients hang for a minute whenever they request a CHECK, or Dovecot feels the need to run one itself. Looking at past threads: http://www.mail-archive.com/dovecot at dovecot.org/msg35212.html http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.mail.imap.dovecot/53936 it seems that the safest way

network of volunteer rubists for humanitarian projects
Hi, Do you know the existence of networks of volunteers in the ruby on rails community willing to be involved or being consulted sometime for humanitarian projects? (I saw a website about that a long time ago , but I don''t remember its name) Thanks! Suggestion for a new server for E1 line
Hi All, I'm trying to identify a new server as a replacement for what our customer actually has (DELL PowerEdge 860). The server will mount the Digium board TE121, we already have, with echo cancel onboard. I need to know if someone could suggest a new server that's compatible with this board. With "compatible" I mean that's not having any problem like IRQ sharing, IRQ miss

using a loop with an integration
Hi, all. I've written a function that returns the survival function for a Gompertz mortality model. I've specified the two model parameters. Using a simple integration, I can calculate the life expectancy at any age. Is there a way I can use a loop with the integration that will quickly return life expectancy over a range of ages, say 0 to 80, so that I don't have to manually type

SPA-962 & Asterisk
Good Day, I have been tasked with fixing the time on our asterisk server. I am having a hard time finding documentation to tell my what asterisk uses to get its time information to push to phones (or a better question, where does the SPA-962 get its time information)? Basically, I can go under the settings of the phone and change the offset to set the correct hour, but it is still about 4

R CMD check tells me 'no visible binding for globalvariable'

multivariate ordinal probit regression vglm()
Hello, all. I'm investigating the rate at which skeletal joint surfaces pass through a series of ordered stages (changes in morphology). Current statistical methods in this type of research use various logit or probit regression techniques (e.g., proportional odds logit/probit, forward/backward continuation ratio, or restricted/unrestricted cumulative probit). Data typically include the

multivariate ordered probit regression---use standard bivariate normal distribution?
Hello. I have yet to receive a response to my previous post, so I may have done a poor job asking the question. So, here is the general question: how can I run a run a multivariate (more than one non-independent, response variables) ordered probit regression model? I've had success doing this in the univariate case using the vglm() function in the VGAM package. For example:

summing two probability density functions from Gompertz hazard model
Hi, r-help members. I have a question about summing two density distributions. I have two samples from which I've estimated hazard parameters for a Gompertz mortality model. With those parameters, I can calculate the PDF (survival function times hazard function) of ages-at-death in a birth cohort subject to the hazard function at each age. I'd like to combine these two density

Gompertz-Makeham hazard models---test for significant difference
Hi, all. I'm working with published paleodemographic data (counts of skeletons that have been assigned into an age-range category, based upon observed morphological characteristics). For example, the following is the age distribution from a prehistoric cemetery in Egypt: naga <-

significant difference between Gompertz hazard parameters?
Hello, all. I have co-opted a number of functions that can be used to plot the hazard/survival functions and associated density distribution for a Gompertz mortality model, given known parameters. The Gompertz hazard model has been shown to fit relatively well to the human adult lifespan. For example, if I wanted to plot the hazard (i.e., mortality) functions: pop1 <- function (t) {

Sub-vector
Dear list, Given a vector of logical values, say >a <- c(TRUE,TRUE,TRUE,FALSE,FALSE,FALSE,FALSE,TRUE,TRUE,TRUE) Are there any R functions that can tell whether there are two or more "TRUE" in a row in this vector? Thanks, Wuming

Unexpected accounts showing up in replication status (doveadm replicator status '*')
I have a replication set up with two dovecot 2.3.4 servers. Messages appear to be replicating fine between them, however there is an oddity when I run doveadm replicator status '*' and I'm worried work is being carried out needlessly. Both machines have identical configs and have a mysql backend for username/passwords.? Both machines point to the same mysql server and same

I trying to receive a SIP call and have ring a analog phone. I have a TDM11B card with FXS(green) module in line 1. I have Sip server "SER" setup to accept a SIP call, add a 970 extension to uri and set to asterisk SIP server on port 5065. ZFS portable between architectures, yes or no?
On the intro page (http://www.opensolaris.org/os/community/zfs/intro/) it states that "ZFS has ''adaptive endianness'' to cope with different byte order on different platforms". However in the PDF (ZFS: The Last Word in File Systems) on page 3 it states "Not portable between platforms (e.g. x86 to/from SPARC)" So is it or isn''t it? Thanks, John. This
