Dovecot not processing through Sieve
Hello everyone,
I'm fairly new to Dovecot, but I've gotten the majority of things working
except for Sieve. I'm running Dovecot 1.2.9 coupled with Postfix and
SpamAssassin all with a virtual domains setup. I am receiving mail and it
is being processed by all the plugins that operate through Postfix. The
quota configured in Dovecot appears to be working because my mail client

sieve & vacation - ignores "days" parameter
Hi,
I am going further with dovecot configuration.
Finally managed to configure roundcube 0.3 with managesieve plugin.
And it works, although... not perfectly :(
For some issues probably roundcube-managesieve is guilty, but simply the
sieve plugins seems to work wrong.
Here is my sieve file:
require ["vacation","fileinto"];
# rule:[wakacje]
if anyof (true)

Dovecot + managesieve + Roundcube
Hello
I've installed managesieve on my mailhub
FreeBSD from dovecot-managesieve ports
to let roundcube users build email filters.
The filter are well created in the right directory
but the filter seems inefficient ( it does not filter ;-) )
see below the result of the dovecot -n command
Thanks for any info

Unable to get Managesieve working
I have Roundcube webmail (v. 0.8.2) running with the managesieve plugin
(v. 5.1). I am able to create sieve rules without any problems in
Roundcube, but incoming mail is not being processed with the rule I
specify. I suspect there is something that isn't configured correctly
in dovecot, but unfortunately I am unable to find a resolution online
and my very limited knowledge of dovecot

Possible pigeonhole dealing with negative numerical values
Using dovecot 2.2.9 and pigeonhole 0.4.2
The system is a Xen VM running Arch Linux x86_64, presently up to date,
on an XFS filesystem in an LVM2 partition. After recently updating my
mail server, I found that a sieve rule I had which would check
X-Spam-Score for a value over a certain number, in my case 2.5. In my
most recent update, negative values would trip the rule.
Here's the rule in

simple steps with sieve
Today is my first day with sieve, so be gentle :) I'm trying to set up a
pretty webmail interface to our Dovecot 1.2.4 server using roundcube.
The managesieve config + roundcube 'managesieve' plugin work fine, and
I'm able to use roundcube's UI to generate .dovecot.sieve files.
We use winbind + LDAP lookups to do some exotic mail rewriting...

managesieve fileinto folder with international characters
I have a folder created in dovecot entered by the user as "??o??"
On the file system it appears as "&APEA8Q-o&AOkA6Q-" (mUTF7)
When creating a sieve rule, to file into the folder ??o??, I am converting
the name from UTF8 into UTF7, the rule becomes
require ["fileinto"];
if header :contains ["From"] "user at domain.com"

Virtual mailboxes and subfolders
Hello again,
I'd like to know if there is a way to have subfolders in virtual
mailbox?
In my virtual namespaces, I have some virtual maiboxes named like this
:
Mailbox
Mailbox.SubMailbox
(the separator is '.')
But when I try to access the submailbox, depending on my client, it
either :
- Tells me the mailbox doesn't exists (Roundcube)
- Don't show me

problem with dovecot and sieve
Hi
We've been using dovecot with great success so far. We are trying to
add sieve support for our users.
We enabled managesieve and users can define rules from the webmail
(roundcube) with sieverules plugin for roundcube.
Everything goes ok, but here's a problem I couldn't figure yet.
When I define a redirect rule, the mail is forwarded but a local copy
is stored too. Weird thing is

dovecot, sieve and vacation
Hi there !
Have a small problem with sieve and vacation: it seems to descard the vacation filter I created instead of sending back an email:
Mar 20 11:56:28 hostname dovecot: deliver(virtual_user): sieve: msgid=unspecified: discarding vacation response for message implicitly delivered to <virtual_user at hostname>
after searching a bit on the net, I stumbled on another (old) thread:

Problem with ACL and rename folder
Hi,
I'm using RoundCube and I asked RC team to add ACL support, but there is
a problem with renaming ACL protected folders. Users don't have
permissions to deleting/renaming some folders. It works well, but every
imap talk when renaming folders ends with:
OK Rename completed.
but the name of folder isn't changed.
Here is a log from RC when I tried to rename ACL

Questions about migration Sun Messaging -> Dovecot+Postfix+Ldap
Hello.
We are planning a migration from Sun One Messaging Server to
Dovecot+Postfix+Ldap. We are using Dovecot 1.2.11 with Sun One Directory
Server 5.2 ldap (we will migrate to Directory Server 6.3.1) soon. In our
University we have 65.000 students, 5.500 staff and 6.500 teachers.
Our main ldap realm is dc=us,dc=es (us means University of Seville,
Spain). We have two e-mail
