imapc and imap_acl
Hello (Timo),
yes, I know... maybe it's a bit far fetched, but I do have a use case.
Would it be (reasonably easily) possible to implement IMAP ACL
support for "imported" imapc namespaces/mailboxes?
There is no local directory (like with the virtual plugin) yet...
Greetings,
Lutz

rsync memory usage
Hi,
we are using rsync to mirror large trees (>> 50 GB, >> 2 mio files)
offsite (rsync -e ssh with forced ssh command on the remote side).
The main problem occuring is memory usage (especially as the remote
system has no swap space configured for security reasons):
It seems that the rsync processes' RSS on both sides increases with
the number of files in the tree. Rsyncing the

Sorry, but without access to this system I can't really say
what is going on. Please talk to Oracle for support. Samba
is running fine on a huge variety of file systems, and if
ACFS gives you locking issues, I would request Oracle to fix

Samba 4.0.17 Available for Download
Hi Bjorn,
I don't know if there are any compile switches they provide more debugging / log options.
I guess its easy to modify the start up script so that logging is at a max.
Was just an after thought really. I just think binaries for distro's are really important and many thanks.
Stuart.
PS I never got a reply but with 4.1.6 but with vfs objects = btrfs declared in smb.conf disk

Samba 3.2.0 and internal shared libraries
Hi Folks,
it is great that so many people have already started
testing 3.2.0pre2 and giving feedback! Thanks a lot!
Here is one major pitfall that you have to be aware of:
Samba 3.2.0 uses shared libraries internally by default
(if shared libraries are supported by the system).
This means that certain subsystems are built and linked
in as shared libs, currently libtalloc.so, libtdbs.so,
