Released Pigeonhole v0.2.1 for Dovecot v2.0.4
Hello Dovecot users,
There haven't been that many Pigeonhole developments lately, not even
really significant bugs were reported. That is why this release is
pretty small in terms of changes.
However, one issue got some attention: the fact that not recompiling
Pigeonhole for Dovecot v2.0.3 would result in rather interesting message

Searching the list archives
This is probably a stupid newbie question. Is there a way to search the
list archives?

maildri++ quota
When is the maildir quota usages recalculated and written to the
second line of the "maildirsize" file?
I'm using 1.1.4, and I reset the quotas for my users by just taking
the first line of their maildirsize file and deleting the rest.

announcement: astfax 1.0
Greetings all!
astfax v1.0 has been released, and is now available at our website.
You can check out the package at http://www.inter7.com/?page=astfax

fax soft client
I emailed this before but never got a reply, maybe there have been some
new technical developments.
I understand that the AMP/A@H now allows faxes to be received via a
software solution but I'm interested, is there a way to send faxes using
software? Maybe something like a SIP or IAX software client that can be
run on a XP pc to initiate the call to an asterisk server?
Cheers,
Dean

Qmail+Vpopmail+Mysql+Dovecot 2.x (Notes on a successful conversion)
SoI had a hell of a time converting my qmail install to dovecot 2.0.5,
so I thought I'd pass on what I learned.
1. When using vpopmail, do not use " --disable-many-domains". If you
do, you'll need to recompile vpopmail without that setting and use the
script found at
http://qmailrocks.thibs.com/downloads/scripts/migrate-vpopmail-many-domains
to collapse the tables.

Move deleted to trash
Is there a way to have messages marked to be deleted move to the trash
folder automatically? I have moved from courier-imap (which dovecot
performs muck better) but the one feature I really need is move to trash.
Is there any plugins available for this?

ParallelR
Anyone using or has access to ParallelR? I was looking at the page and
found nothing really useful!
http://www.revolution-computing.com/sitegenius/topic.php?id=195
I want to see if I can run R on a cluster of workstation, and use
batch systems like Grid Engine or Xgrid:

upsc "Error: ... Can't assign requested address"
Hello there.
I've just install nut 2.2 from source on my FreeBSD box. I have an MGE
AVR 600 UPS on a USB cable. Following the INSTALL instructions,
everything works in term of the USB driver detecting the right UPS and
upsd loads up and runs without error.
However, upsc reports the following error:
# upsc mge600 at localhost

Again: Release 0.8.4 GPL PV-Drivers for Windows
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
Hello James,
have you ever tested the pv-drivers on W2k SP4? ;-)
At first there is a little failure in install.bat. The version-number of
w2k starts with "5.00" instead of "5.0.". So your script couldn''t
recognize w2k.
The rest of the installation looks ok, but after rebooting the vm
nothing happens. Theres still the
