1.1rc5 Panic: mailbox-tree.c: line 171 (mailbox_tree_iterate_set_next_node)
Hi, I do hope this hasn't been covered. I googled and looked in the archives but didn't see anything related, so hopefully I am not covering old ground. I recently upgraded from 1.0.10 to 1.1rc5. I am seeing this error from clients: May 25 11:01:54 finity dovecot: Panic: IMAP(xxx at here.org): file mailbox-tree.c: line 171 (mailbox_tree_iterate_set_next_node): assertion failed:

1.0rc29: Corrupted index cache file
Hi, I have recently migrated from Courier to Dovecot, and I noticed a problem in one of my spam scripts. Here's the setup: Spam that needs to be retrained by the filter is placed in a maildir from the IMAP client. A cron job scans that maildir and if it finds a message, feeds it to the spam filter and removes it from the training maildir. Depending on whether or not the message was a

dovecot - outlook users keep getting locked out of imap
Greetings: My outlook users accessing mail via dovecot's imaps have been consistantly getting locked out of their email. It happens about once a week per outlook user. It appears to happen when the are cliking on emails with attachments. When this happens, there are two imap deamons running for that user. I kill both deamons and things start working again. Dovecot v2.0.12 OpenBSD - getpwuid() error
Hi! I've upgraded from 2.0.11 to 2.0.12. I've experienced errors during delivery with dovecot-lda. The error log attached contains the errors. Since then I had to downgrade to 2.0.11, to make it work again. When starting 2.0.12, it couldn't chown() the files under /var/dovecot (eg.: dict) to the user specified in the configuration file. Configuration: # doveconf -n # 2.0.11:

imap process killed with signal 11
Hi! Using the latest cvs from HEAD, I'm experiencing problems after sending a message and the client is trying upload the message to the appropriate (Sent/Queue) folder. I get only one error in dovecot.log: dovecot: Nov 25 14:21:31 Error: child 19554 (imap) killed with signal 11 So my client disconnects, and asks for the password again, and in dovecot.info I get nothing, but the logs of the

Struggeling with svydesign()
Dear all, We are analysing some survey data and we are not sure if we are using the correct syntax for our design. The population of interest is a set of 4416 polygons with different sizes ranging from 0.003 to 45.6 ha, 7460 ha in total. Each polygon has a binary attribute (presence/absence) and we want to estimate the probability of presence in the population. We used sampling with replacement

Dovecot 2.0.2 breakes LMTP delivery for me
Hi, I'm onboard Debian Lenny (amd64) and just reverted from 2.0.2-0~auto+4 back to 2.0.1-0~auto+1 because LMTP stopped working completly with the above Package. In my setup delivery is done from exim via LMTP to dovecot (Maildir/ext3). The lmtp dovecot config looks like this: > service lmtp { > user = vmail > inet_listener lmtp { > address = 127.0.0.1 > port = 24

Samba 2.0.3 SCO Unix 3.2v4.2 and Shadow files
Basically I've found that the 2.0.3 version of Samba is not supporting shadowed password files on SCO Unix 3.2v4.2. It appears to be doing it on SCO Unix OSR5 however. This shows up both in smbd and swat. We found this out by playing with the newest version on a SCO Unix OSR5 box. I recompiled the software on that box for a SCO 3.2v4.2 box but was unable to get the resulting binary to work

Where are the older versions?
Hi, Anyone know where I can get a .tar.gz of 2.0.2? I'd like this version, since the PDC code is reportedly more stable than 2.0.3. Or has this been fixed in 2.0.3? IMAP folders' codepages problem ?
Hi! I probably have a problem with the imap folders codepages. I use polish email clients such as MS Outlook and Windows Mail. The clients try to create folders like Wiadomo?ci-?mieci but Dovecot creates Wiadomo&AVs-ci-&AVs-mieci This happens on two different dovecot installations 1: Installation A # 1.2.6: /etc/dovecot.conf # OS: Linux 2.6.30.9-96.fc11.x86_64 x86_64 Fedora release

Xserve, USB, NUT
Hi - I have NUT running very nicely on a serial port on one of my OpenBSD servers, and using hidups on a RHEL4 box. Now I'd like to run it on two Macs, a PowerMac and an XServe G4. What is the USB port I need to configure, and do I need the newhidups driver? Thanks in advance for the help! Ted

ocfs2 + drbd primary/primary "No space left on device"
Hello. I'm having issues using ocfs2 and drbd in dual primary mode. After running some filesystem test's that create a lot of small files I run really fast into "No space left on device" The non failing node is able to write/read from the filesystem. And the failing node is also able to delete/read from the filesystem Ubuntu custom kernel 2.6.27.2 o2cb_ctl version 1.3.9 drbd

dovecot genesis v2.0.X
V2 of dovecot has had the following releases (to recap) 2.0.0 2010-08-16 2.0.1 2010-08-24 2.0.2 2010-09-08 2.0.3 2010-09-17 2.0.4 2010-09-26 2.0.5 2010-10-01 I am on FreeBSD, and the port committers want to wait till dovecot V2 "stabilizes" prior to adding it to the FreeBSD ports base. So, my question is, respectfully, is dovecot V2.0.5 stable enough for prime-time on a busy ISP

I took a look at backporting tripplite_usb to Testing. I don't see the regex matcher, though. Do we want to merge that, too? Or should I

Bad smbclient put performance and smbfs write performance
Hi, I've had extremely bad smbclient put performance when connecting from my Linux box to a Windows 95 box. I only get about 10KBytes/s! All other forms of data transfer work fine, and I get from 600-700KBytes/s. This is on a local 10BT LAN. I've seen a few other reports of this, but no solutions as of yet. smbclient does puts just fine to another Linux/Samba Server. I'm using
