.mailboxlist location
Greetings.
On our 1.2.9 setup, we are finding that .mailboxlist (we recompiled to
use this name rather than .subscriptions) ends up in the user's ~/mail
folder. We'd like this file to be stored in ~/ instead. Is this
possible without changing namespaces (for UW compatibility) and/or
userdb mail location?
Thanks!

Just wondering for all you people using Dovecot out there.
1. What mailbox protocol are you using?

graphically accessing pv guest
Hi all,
I''m trying to expand the screen resolution of my guest when using vnc. It
appears I need to use the extra variable in my guest config file and xenfb.
I pass it in like this:
extra = ''xenfb.video=8,1024,768''
I can see this being passed to the kernel when it boots but it doesn''t
change the vnc screen resolution. I also see this when I type ps -ef |

possible Xen bugs
Hi all,
I recently installed Squeeze, followed but Xen 4.0. A few notes of things
I've run into while installing.
The network script part of the xend-config.sxp does not appear to work.
Everything would boot find until I uncommented that line and tried to set it
up per the Debian Xen wiki. I managed to get bridging to work using the
debian network bridge tools, brctl.
Xen does not

Printing Problem
Hi there.
I have the following Problem (configuration follows):
I have configured Samba with 3 printers, 2 of them with direct
connection over TCP, because they are connected directly to the
internal network.
When I try to print on one of them, the printing application on a
Windows XP Professional client freezes and a Windows 2000 client
reports an error message,
that there is a problem with

Plugin Status
Hello,
I have been using flac for some time and it works really great for me. I have
tried the plugins for winamp2 and xmms and noticed that it does display the
vorbis tags but you cannot edit them yet. It would also be cool to show some
infos like md5sum, numbers of frames etc. in the plugin status window. Are
these features under development or not very high priority?

Shorewall 4.4.6 and Multiple ISP with 2 routed subnets
Hello,
I have 2 ISP uplinks (zones: inet1 and inet2), each with a fixed IP on the outside and a routed subnet (/25 and /26) on the inside. So, behind the firewall i have 2 networksegments (lan1 and lan2) with public IP-addresses. The segments are completely isolated from eachother: hosts in zone "lan1" connect only to "inet1" and hosts in zone "lan2" only connect

Network configuration: desktop vs. laptop
Hi,
I'm just migrating some stuff from Slackware Linux to CentOS, and I have
a question about the orthodox way of configuring a network connection.
On a desktop or workstation, I usually get rid of NetworkManager:
# systemctl stop NetworkManager
# yum remove NetworkManager
Then I edit the /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-XXXXX file
corresponding to my network interface. Here's

Network configuration: desktop vs. laptop
Hi Niki,
On CentOS it's normal for both wireless and wired to be connected at the same time, maybe what you are seeing is just the icon's being confusing or not being replaced with the right thing?
This is easy to check, just issue an "ip route". On My system I can see something like this:
default via 192.168.0.1 dev eth0 proto static
192.168.0.0/24 dev eth0 proto kernel
