Scheduling Reminders
Hello everyone, I am not sure if this question belongs here but I will take my chances. I am creating a little app to keep track of my homework and when it is due, and I would like to send myself email reminders within x amount of the due time. What suggestions do you have for accomplishing this? I am running the latest versions of Ruby and Rails on a Fedora Core 5 box with qmail. Thanks for

Tek-Tips Samba Forum
I was really happy to see that someone has created a forum for Samba at the Tek-Tips web site. I use the Tek-Tips site for other subjects, especially Visual Basic and Unix and find it absolutely brilliant for getting smart advice quickly. The Tek-Tips site is very well maintained, and I would like to see the Samba forum become as popular as some of the other subjects. This mailing list is very

RE: A Suggestion
Trevor, you are right; this is a great forum for help, but the interface definitely leaves some things to be desired. In my very humble opinion, I would love it if every message that appeared on this list was also posted to the Samba forum on Tek-Tips; www.tek-tips.com (search for forum called andrew tridgell: samba) which has a beautiful interface. with mbox format doveadm ignores subfolders of inbox
Hello. After we switched the format from mbox to mdbox on our dovecot (version 2.1.9) servers last week, some of our users were missing the subfolders of their inboxes. So far we thought that with the mbox format it is not possible to have mail folders containing both messages and subfolders. Now we know that there is one exception from this rule: the inbox. With mbox format dovecot

Printer fiasco...
OK, First, thanks for all of the help recently. I appreciate it. But...I have just implemented the cvs code as to be able to use the 'use client driver' option because win nt/2k machines have been seeing an 'Access denied, unable to connect' error for the print queues and this will apparently fix this. I will describe my setup and what I have done thus far: RH 7.1 Samba 2_2 cvs
