Only part of sieve script works
Hi, I am using Dovecot 2.2.11 with Pigeonhole on Arch Linux. I have a partly working sieve script (pasted to the end of this mail) which sorts mail into various imap folders. The first, third and fourth if blocks work just fine. The second and fifth block do not sort any mails. However, if I apply the script with sieve-test to mails the second and fifth block seem to work. How is the manual

Case sensitivity in :addresses in sieve vacation scripts
Hi, I have recently updated from Dovecot 2.2 to 2.3. Since I have noticed that vacation responses from sieve are not working the same anymore. For example, my sieve script looks like this: vacation :days 1 :addresses ["Kippels at hhu.de","julian.kippels at hhu.de"] it used to be that I got a vacation response if I sent a mail to kippels at hhu.de and Kippels at hhu.de. [sieve] extracting address behavior changes beetwen 2.2.13 and 2.2.16
Hi all! After upgrading dovecot from 2.2.13 to 2.2.16 I noticed that my sieve filters doesn't catch some emails. I used sieve-test with tracing (it's great tool!) and I can see as below: part of sieve filter: [...] elsif address :is "From" "backup at areda.pl" { [...] dovecot-2.2.13: 36: address test 36: starting `:is' match with `i;ascii-casemap'

dovecot-sieve with FreeBSD
Hello, I've a test system with postfix (SMTP), dovecot (IMAP only) and covecot-LDA (MDA) under FreeBSD-6.1. Currently everything works fine. But I wasn't able to install dovecot-sieve from the CVS. Does anyone has a small documentation howto install dovecot-sieve on FreeBSD. Thanks. -- Der GMX SmartSurfer hilft bis zu 70% Ihrer Onlinekosten zu sparen! Ideal f?r Modem und ISDN:

Pigeonhole, vacation being sent incorrectly
Hi, I have an issue with a vacation message in a sieve script. I can't see an error in the script itself. Pigeonhole version: 0.4.2-32 Dovecot Version: 2.2.10 The script was created by Ingo (part of the Horde suite), but I think the script is fine. The problem is that when a message is sent to the "everyone" group (and alias for every person in the organisation), vacation

Independent variable dependent on offset in GLMM
Hi! I’m running glmer (lme4) models with biodiversity data and I’m having trouble with understanding/finding information on how the offset() option is implemented. Explicitly, I’m wondering if the offset is only implemented on the dependent variable (as I think it is), or does it also affect independent variables in the model (was told this by a stat guy at our department)? My data is

dovecot-lda, sieve, maildir
I'm unable to get dovecot-lda with sieve filtering to deliver into maildir folders. The examples on the wiki explicitly say "mbox", so I'm wondering, does the dovecot-lda sieve implementation not support filtering into maildir folders? -frank

ERROR: 'latex' needed but missing on your system.
After successfully building R on Slackware Linux v11.0 I went to make the documentation; the texi files went fine and then I hopefully issued make dvi after having gotten the warning to the effect of "You cannot build the DVI or PDF manuals" during compilation. And, as expected I got the error ERROR: 'latex' needed but missing on your system. The problem is that latex is on

theora/doc/draft-* licenses
Hi, the IETF drafts had to be removed from the Debian package recently because IETF RFCs/drafts are (per default) not conformant to the Debian Free Software Guidelines, see <URL:http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=390665>. It would be nice if Phil and Luca could dual-license the drafts under a DFSG-free license also ... most straight-forward would be libtheora's own

About ManageSieve and TLS
Hi, I have a "ubuntu10.04 + dovecot-2.0.13" configuration in my server. It works fine with ~50k accounts. Recently I enabled TLS: $ cat /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf ... # Use SSL ? ssl = yes ... The goal was to provide only IMAPS and POP3S. But Managesieve says "STARTTLS": $ telnet _MY_IP_ 2000 Trying _MY_IP_... Connected to _MY_IP_. Escape character is '^]'.
