Theora patent question
Does the reason Theora is relatively safe from patent infringement lawsuit have more to do with it actually not being encumbered, or is it because its use is decentralized? Semi-OT: Backing up maildir
We switched our mail server over from mbox to maildir a few months ago and couldn't be happier - the performance under normal load is incredible. However we now have a problem with backup.. icecast with stunnel
Hello I've been using icecast/ices 1.3.11 at home for sometime now, and it works pretty well. Thanks to everyone who has worked on it. Dovecot-lda/deliver - how to deliver root's mail?

Seeking on Theora streams
Hello, I've written a program loosely based on libtheora-1.0/examples/player_example.c, I would like to add the ability to randomly seek to a particular place in the stream (for starters, skipping forward or backward N seconds at a time). Occasional problem with POP3-Download

Bug: Loosing Group Permissions in Archive Mode with Sticky Bit and ACL Mask
Hello, I currently try to copy a directory locally between two ext4 filesystems while preserving permissions and ACLs using the -aAX options. Under some conditions, rsync does not copy the posix permissions completely, it changes the group::rwx to a group::--- permission. The latest rsync available on Debian Jessie is 3.1.1, but the changelog for 3.1.2 and 3.1.3 did not seem to mention such a bug
