Unable to find the Domain Master Browser name
I have just installed Samba on RedHat Linux 6.2 which is working fine. However, I've noted that for every 20 minutes, the following error message being logged under log.nmb, [2001/04/17 14:29:27, 0] nmbd/nmbd_browsesync.c:find_domain_master_name_query_ fail(362) find_domain_master_name_query_fail: Unable to find the Domain Master Browser name HOME<1b> for the workgroup HOME. How to use the pass 'Unroll and Jam'
Dear LLVM developers, Recently I want to try the pass '-loop-unroll-and-jam' to observe how the IR is transformed, but I don't see the IR changed after doing the following steps. Here are the details for preparing my experiment and I have tried the LLVM 6, 7 and 8: 1) Simple 2D array source code (loop.c) is given ``` #define M 32768 #define N 32768 double a[M][N], b[M][N],

in a major jam...
I upgraded my dovecot installation from something <<1.0 to 0.99.14 today. I wasn't exactly planning to but it just came along for the ride when I upgraded the rest of my system. I was using postgresql for the authentication. Nothing works. the debug logs show that I'm able to make a connection to the database table well enough: auth(default): pgsql: Connected to dbmail

in a major jam... authentication
I was upgrading my debian box and managed to upgrade my dovecot installation at the same time. I wasn't planning on it, but it came along just the same. I took some notes on what I thought I needed to change, but apparently it wasn't enough. I've been running this for quite some time now with pgsql authentication and it's been one of those nice applications that always

Kaspersky Anti-virus unable to join Domain
Just a heads up. I recently built a new (XPSP2) image with the Kaspersky 6.0.3.837 on it. I had issues joining the domain with the AV running. Had to disable. (A domain controller for domain ABC could not be contacted.....) I didn't have AV on my previous image, so I don't know if version 5 did the same. I don't recall seeing this on the list, so I thought I would throw it out....

How to set read.table variables to vectors?
The summary stats for the xin and yin variables below are correct. However, if I use plot(xin, yin), an exception is thrown saying that "object xin is not found." Also, it is apparent that I can't successfully replace the x and y vectors with values from xin and yin. The four plots on one panel are showing but the range of x and y is only [0,1], and therefore, it seems like an

[cfe-dev] Proposal: Enable BUILD_SHARED_LIBS=ON by default for debug build.
Hi Yin, I second David's words. I use shared libs myself on debug builds, but static builds with gold on a local disk is pretty feasible. Before I used gold, I had to have 16GB of RAM on my laptop, now I need less than 8GB for static builds. On 28 January 2016 at 23:58, Yin Ma via cfe-dev <cfe-dev at lists.llvm.org> wrote: > It is O.K. [LLVMdev] Should remove calling NULL pointer or not
Hi John, It seems the dereferencing a NULL pointer is undefined behavior but Calling a function through a null pointer seems o.k. If so , for this place, we need comment out the check. http://www.open-std.org/jtc1/sc22/wg21/docs/cwg_active.html#232 look at Notes from the October 2003 meeting. [LLVMdev] Any plan to add MIN/MAX isd node?
Hi Duncan, To use select, usually, there is a compare before select. Presence of comparison will disable some opportunities to optimize some code. Select and Compare is not associative neither. [LLVMdev] Should remove calling NULL pointer or not
Hi, For a small case, that calls NULL pointer function. LLVM explicitly converts It to a store because it thinks it is not reachable like calling undefvalue. In InstCombineCalls.cpp:930 I think it is not a right approach because calling null pointer function Will segfault the program. Converting to a store will make program pass Silently. This changes the behavior of a program.

Netbios name resolution with DHCP
I have a network with RH7.2 (netbois name "server"), Mandrake 8.1 ("Linuxbox"), Smoothwall ("Smoothwall"), WinNT ("di-bosco"), Win 98 ("robertw" & "Nicole") x 2 and Win 2k ("DiBosco2k"). Smoothwall is the DHCP server. Why would it be that all the Windows machines can ping to a netbios name, eg ping server, ping Linuxbox
