Migration between namespaces breaks outlook on mac's
Hi there, We're running dovecot 1.1 on one set of servers with a courier-imap-like namespace configuration: namespace private { separator = . prefix = INBOX. inbox = yes } We're now migrating customers onto a dovecot-2 platform, switching from Maildir to sdbox (using dsync mirror) & changing the namespace at the same time. New namespace configuration looks like (as

I think there's still a namespace problem somehow... I've attached the rawlog .in and .out files... when I select the Spam

Courier->Dovecot Migration Issue
For testing purposes, on a small set of users, we've run the courier-dovecot-migrate.pl script. We are converting from Courier 0.43 to Dovecot 1.2.9. For the most part, things seem to be ok. However, an iPhone IMAP client user is reporting a problem where some of her messages don't show up. Even stranger is the fact that these same messages do appear when using Outlook 2k7 for

Problem with huge IMAP Archive after Courier migration
I have a mail server running Debian 6.0 with Courier IMAP to store project related mail. Currently the maildir of the archive (one user) contains about 37GB of data. Our staff is acessing the archive via Outlook 2007 where they drag their Exchange inbox or sent files to it. The problem with courier is that is sometimes mixes up headers with message bodies, so I wanted to migrate to dovecot. I

Hello, I've been working to migrate to dovecot (debian stable: 1:1.2.15-7) from courier (debian old-stable: 4.4.0-2). I've setup everything and migrated a test user over to the new system, and ran the courier-dovecot-migrate.pl script. The user is using alpine (the free version of pine) and their sort order changed on move to dovecot. Originally it was the default in alpine, which is to

Migrating maildirs - Courier to Dovecot
I apologise, because I'm sure this subject has been done to death, but I want to migrate from Courier to Dovecot. I think my main question is whether there's any reason I shouldn't just rsync the maildirs across from the old mail server to the new one? There aren't many clients using this server, so I don't care if clients have to redownload all their messages (in fact, I

Hi, I'm attempting an one-to-one migration from courier-imap to dovecot-imap. current state: Imap-server has a self signed certificate Every client/user has a self signed client certificate that is used for SSL/TLS client authentication. migration from IMAP/POP3 courier server to a remote dovecot server
