I don?t seem to have that install on my Debian machine.
But I have done this:

* LIST (\HasChildren) "/" Archive
* LIST (\HasNoChildren \Sent) "/" Sent

Hi Timo,
doveadm reports errors for \Noselect mailboxes.
What I have:

Namespace "hidden" option not working?
I either misunderstand the namespace hidden option, or else perhaps it's
not working correctly in 1.0.5?
dovecot.conf
# default namespace
namespace private {
separator = /
prefix =
inbox = yes
hidden = yes
}
# for backwards compatibility:
namespace private {
separator = .
prefix = INBOX.
inbox = yes
}
Then login and test

Unexpected result from LIST EXTENDED command
I am executing this command below to dovecot-2.3.5-6.cp1178.x86_64 server
Notice that some status responses are missing (For folders INBOX.Archive, INBOX.spam.&-BD0EOQQ9BDkEPQ-). I wonder If this is a bug or working as expected
In rfc5819 there is this:
If the server runs into unexpected problems while trying to look up
the STATUS information, it MAY drop the corresponding STATUS reply.

LIST command ignores "hidden=yes" for default namespace
I'm not sure if this is a bug or just an undesirable feature, but when I
have our namespace configured to match Courier's "INBOX." functionality,
Dovecot forces me to also define a default namespace (with no prefix).
Without the default namespace defined I get "NO Unknown namespace." errors
when trying to subscribe or unsubscribe folders.
So I have configured my

Hi,
I have a shared namespace, which works fine yesterday. Today I have just
updated my dovecot to the newest from hg.dovecot.org, and it crashed
when list the shared namespace.
namespace shared {
separator = /
prefix = shared/%%u/
location = maildir:%%h/Maildir:INDEX=~/Maildir/shared/%%u
list = children
subscriptions = no
}

lazy expunge folder delete bug
There's a bug in "folder delete" for lazy expunge, type "1 namespace", as descibed on https://wiki2.dovecot.org/Plugins/Lazyexpunge
When trying to delete a mailbox that still has messages in it, but that has no EXPUNGED/<name> counterpart, the process hangs after the imap "DELETE" command, and the following appears in the log file after a 60s timeout:

extra IMAP folders: how to make all clients use the same Sent folder?
Dear All
I have just setup IMAP with Maildir, but unfortunately some clients
create their own folders instead of using those specified in
15-mailboxes.conf . What could be the reason?
Here's what it looks like:

> * LIST (\HasNoChildren \Sent) "." "Sent Messages"
> * LIST (\HasNoChildren) "." Gesendet
> * LIST (\HasNoChildren)

Masking INBOX.INBOX
I am using dovecot and trying to make it compatible with my a BincIMAP
installation. BincIMAP uses a scheme similar to Courier-IMAP, so I set
up this default_mail_env:
default_mail_env = maildir:~/Maildir
And this namespace:
namespace private {
separator = .
prefix = INBOX.
inbox = yes
}
Which mostly works as expected, but I now see an "INBOX" subfolder of
"INBOX" in

Folder renaming oddities.
Hi Timo,
We are observing some weird behaviour when we try to rename an inferior
folder, followed by the superior folder.
These folders have an asterisk in the name.
* LIST (\HasChildren) "." "*Own Family"
* LIST (\HasChildren) "." "*Own Family.Tour"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren) "." "*Own Family.Maid"
* LIST (\HasNoChildren)

Possible RENAME bug
Hello, I'm having some trouble working on a webapp managing the imap tree on Dovecot.
The same doesn't happen on other imap servers (e.g. Cyrus).
Looks like if I receive shared folders from another user, and try to rename a folder in it, the rename command returns "ok", then if you list the new folder name, it isn't there.
Looks like you've lost all the original folder

LSUB output format != LIST output format
Hi,
I have a problem with my hanging claws-mail. I first subscribed to
their bug tracker, described the problem and before I pressed on submit
in their bugtracker, I realized it might be a problem with dovecot.
I'm using dovecot for internal purposes only (catching all my external
boxes and storing locally):
# 1.2.8: /usr/local/etc/dovecot.conf
# OS: FreeBSD 7.2-RELEASE-p5 i386
