v1.2.8 released

An attacker could for example replace Dovecot's auth socket and log in as other users. Gaining root privileges isn't possible though. This affects only

I *really* dislike the new photon UI. I WANT the arrow buttons top and bottom of the scrollbars. Does anyone know how to bring them back, or is that "that's *sooo* last year, you can't ever have them again"? mark

odd issue with IP tables
I put iptables on my asterisk box and an odd thing occurs. I allow 5060 and 10000-20000. As soon as I start iptables and make a call it literally takes 60-90 seconds before the call even starts to ring. As soon as I shut iptables off, the call goes through immediately again. Its quite odd. The call does eventually go through and talks fine but it takes sooo long to connect. Anyone have some

dovecot-lda, sieve, maildir
I'm unable to get dovecot-lda with sieve filtering to deliver into maildir folders. The examples on the wiki explicitly say "mbox", so I'm wondering, does the dovecot-lda sieve implementation not support filtering into maildir folders? -frank

locked account accessable via pubkey auth
maybe this is a silly question ;-) But why is it possible to login on a machine with a locked account (passwd -l ) via pubkey-authentication (authorized_keys) ? I use OpenSSH3.01p1on Solaris8 with PAM support so I thought this should not happen. If this is the normal behaviour and built in intentionally what would be the easiest way to lock an account without deleting the users authorized_keys ?

iptables ... *BSD pf ... pfSense
Hi, I followed the "Optimizing CentOS for gigabit firewall" posting and as some posters wrote pf is soo sooo ssooooo mutch faster, I was thinking to give it a try. But I'm not familier to BSD so I was looking for some tools and found "pfsense" http://www.pfsense.org/ "pfSense is a free, open source customized distribution of FreeBSD tailored for use as a

render .rhtmlx if present, otherwise render .rhtml
We have a product where our customer is "allowed" to make minor changes to the .rhtml views. Obviously, this can be an issue when updating the software, as changes need to be merged in. Also, sometimes the customer wants to back out there change but no longer has the original file. SOOO.... I''d like to tell them - if you want to change a .rhtml file - just copy it to

Wine - execution
Hi! Sorry, that was meant indeed for program execution (to open/run the program), not downloading. The term used was wrong ;( , I'm not sooo good in English and computer language ;). Can you please tell me how to run the program? After downloading it saves to my folder, but then I don't know what to do - what program to choose or what to write in the terminal (console). Thanks so much

dendrogram / clusteranalysis plotting
Dear all, i performed a clusteranalysis - which worked so far... i plotted the dendrogram and sooo many branches, a rough sketch would be enough ;) i tried max.levels therefore which worked, but not for the plot... i used the following plot(hcd, nodePar =nP, str(hcd,max.level=1)) the output on the terminal was: --[dendrogram w/ 2 branches and 196 members at h = 2.70] |--[dendrogram w/ 2

Solaris8 and winbind.
Hi, I used to look forward to Samba's warning free compilations, but this is to be no more. I've got samba 2.2.2 installed and running with --without-winbind, but it seems that this is a good thing to have. Sooo... Has anyone successfully compiled winbind on Solaris 8 using cc? I'm using cc (cc: Sun WorkShop 6 update 1 C 5.2 2000/09/11) and am running into the same compile
