auth(default): vmysql: sql error[3]: MySQL server has gone away
Hi all, I'm facing this error: dovecot: auth(default): vmysql: sql error[3]: MySQL server has gone away I've been reading this list archives and seems to be a resolved issue (back to 2005), so dovecot should just reconnect but it does not so. I'm using dovecot 1.1.3 with vpopmail 5.4.25 with this configuration: # 1.1.3: /usr/local/etc/dovecot.conf listen: *:143 ssl_disable: yes

find_by_sql not quoting properly (in acts_as_taggable plugin)
I have run into a very strange problem discovered through the use of the acts_as_taggable plugin, but related to quoting/sanitizing the interpolated list in a find_by_sql. Apologies for the length, but I wanted to be complete. ;-) The method from acts_as_taggable.rb is: def find_tagged_with(list) find_by_sql(["SELECT #{table_name}.* FROM #{table_name}, tags,

libf95.a: could not read symbols?
I'm sorry for having to post this, but I've run out of ideas. I've been trying to build R-2.8.1 from source for installation on FreeBSD 6.4 (seems to be working fine on osx) and keep getting the same results, regardless of how I set ./configure $ ./configure --enable-R-shlib --with-x=no --with-blas FFLAGS="-fpic" R is now configured for x86_64-unknown-freebsd6.0 Source

Vpopmail support broken
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 My apologies if I'm posting for information which has already been supplied to the list. I searched and all I found was people talking about the change in 2.0.3, but no details on the commit other than "I was tired of people telling me it crashes". We have not received any reports for the 5.4 or 5.5 branch of vpopmail causing crashes

reproducible segmentation fault installing packages on FreeBSD 11.1
Hi, This happens when attempting to install any package. There were no such problems on 11.0. Some other ways to trigger the problem: curlGetHeaders("http://bugs.r-project.org") There are no problems with the first two calls, but then the crash always happens on the third call. tf <- tempfile() download.file("http://cran.r-project.org/",tf,method="libcurl")
