Hi everybody, I need help to install driver for video card. I have physically installed two video capture card on two different computers. Both running Linux CentOS release 4.4 (final), and kernel 2.6.9-42.0.3.ELsmp. The first computer is Pentium D 3.00 GHz, 1Gbyte RAM. The second computer is AMD Athlon 2800+, 1 Gbyte RAM. Just did an update with yum, and got this error when running the transaction check. Transaction Check Error: package freetype-2.1.9-1.2.2.el4.rf (which is newer than freetype-2.1.9-1.rhel4.4) is already installed Yum then quit. What do I need to do to fix this error? This is a first for me. x86-64 machine. Thanks....... Sam

Here is the output from yum -y upgrade without the error parts... Its odd because it updated all of these first time round. I have dared reboot the box yet, for fear it won't come back up... Hello list friends, I got the following error during yum update. How should I proceed to eliminate the probelm? (I thought perhaps to uninstall the .i386 package -- but there are some 15-20 other packages depending on it...) Hi, I am installing Centos ServerCD 4.4 64-bit on a new Supermicro board, the RAID BIOS looks fine, RAID 5, all 4 Seagate ES 250 GB drives show up as a single array in the RAID BIOS tool, and the OS install phase completes without a hitch.
