Realm Stripping
I saw some discussion on this from the middle of last year. Looking
through the archives, there didn't seem to be a full solution using a
standard dovecot configuration. Did this issue get resolved within
dovecot? Will it strip domains from the login presented by the
customer.
I currently am using dovecot for imap with a webmail system (I strip the
domain there before it hits dovecot), but

imaptest-20130617 seems to be reporting spurious header changes
I'm trying to use this to test an IMAP server I'm developing (I picked
the nightly up from the link on the wiki page at
http://www.imapwiki.org/ImapTest/Installation). With one client using
the mailbox dovecot-crlf (http://www.dovecot.org/tmp/dovecot-crlf) I get
messages like:

strip domains
Hello,
Running FC5 x86_64 with dovecot-1.0-0_8.beta3.rhfc5.at
Using system user/passwds for 99.99% of users...have sql user/pass enabled
to test virtual users from mysql.
How do I strip off the domain when users provide user at domain.com so that
my userdb and passdb use just 'user'? (disregarding sql auth...I'm not
concerned with that right now).

Force to strip all symbols from ELFs when using rpmbuild on CentOS
Hello.
What's the proper way to remove *all symbols* from ELF binaries when
building packages with rpmbuild on CentOS? Seems that an out of the box
rpmbuild install only discards debugging symbols (strip -g).
That's the default configuration for %__os_install_post on CentOS, the
step in charge on stripping binaries:
$ rpmbuild --showrc

install-strip issue

${INSTALLCMD} ${STRIP} -m 755 rsync$(EXEEXT) ${DESTDIR}${bindir}

install-strip:
$(MAKE) STRIP='-s' install
This doesn't work (at least) on OpenBSD, because install(1) there
will use the value of the environment variable STRIP as the command
to run for stripping the executable.
Renaming the variable will take care of this.

Is it a bug when you move mail between namespaces....
my monthly archive script does:
echo `date` start ${i}
doveadm mailbox create \#ARCHIVE/${YEAR_LAST_MONTH}/${i}
doveadm -f tab mailbox status messages ${i}
doveadm move \#ARCHIVE/${YEAR_LAST_MONTH}/${i} mailbox \
${i} BEFORE ${TODAY} SINCE ${FIRST_LAST_MONTH}
doveadm -f tab mailbox status messages ${i}
echo `date` done ${i}
for each mailbox that has >= 1 message in

lattice : using both strip and strip.left
Dear all,
I'm routinely using lattice and ggplot2, I wish to create a lattice
theme that looks not too dissimilar to ggplot's defaults so I can
include both graphs in a document with a consistent look.
To illustrate my questions, consider the following example:

Sieve to strip html from multipart messages
Is is possible (I?m sure it is, so how) to strip multipart messages that are HTML and text of the HTML portion and leave the bare text message without also stripping other parts (like images or attached files).
Or also to take messages that are only HTML and strip the HTML and replace it with a plain text version?
I used to do this a long time ago with procmail and lynx, but it was never

Dovecot 2.2.16: disappearing messages, mismatched summaries, duplicated messages, excessive full re-downloads
Since you have confirmed that someone else you know is using it on
FreeBSD+ZFS without these problems, have you tried asking on the FreeBSD
support list(s)?
Seems like that may be your best bet, since it is certainly not a
generic dovecot problem (but may indeed be one or more of the settings
you are using)...
You could also go ahead and post the diff of your config and your
friends (I'm
