How does one mark all messages as read (imap4flag "seen") with sieve?
I don't use the Anti-Spam plugin; I just fire off a BASH script every four hours with crontab which iterates thru the vmail email accounts and trains Spamassassin 'per-user' accounts. If the script sounds interesting I can post it here. It probably could use a little polish though. Bill On 11/9/2016 6:49 PM, Ben Johnson wrote: > On 11/5/2016 1:22 PM, Larry Rosenman wrote:

Replacement for antispam plugin
Hi! Since antispam plugin is deprecated and we would really prefer people not to use it, we wrote instructions on how to replace it with IMAPSieve. Comments and suggestions are most welcome. https://wiki.dovecot.org/HowTo/AntispamWithSieve --- Aki Tuomi Dovecot oy

Dovecot antispam
Hello, This is not specifically a dovecot issue, but to it's antispam plugin, that being the case if private responses are deemed so please do so. I've got a Postfix, amavisd-new, dovecot (delivery and sieve), setup with spamassassin. It's for the most part working fine, here's the problem, false positives and false negatives. The sieve moves spamassassin-tagged messages in to

deploying dspam
Hi everyone, I've been thinking of phasing out my spamassassin installation (it's hardly doing me any good these days) in favour of dspam. Now since I'm working on this anyway, I thought I'd configure it so when users get any spam, it is delivered into a special folder. I figure I need the 1.0 test series for this, so I can make that folder fixed. But, I also want to allow

Dovecot antispam (X-DSPAM-Signature)
Hi, I recently installed an IMAP server with dovecot and the dovecot antispam plugin with dspam backend. If I configure dspam to not include the signature in the X-DSPAM-Signature header will I be able to move mail into SPAM folder? Regards, Isabel

antispam plugin problem with dspam
I'm trying to use the dovecot antispam plugin with dspam. I'm running dovecot 1.1.2. Using thunderbird and IMAP, when I drag a spam message from the inbox into the SPAM folder, I get a popup saying "The current command did not succeed. The mail server responded: antispam signature not found. When I look at the message in the maildir folder, I see the dspam signature both in the

new antispam plugin
Sparked from the discussion on the list, I've put my antispam plugin into git and split up the code into a frontend and possibly multiple backends. See http://git.sipsolutions.net/dovecot-antispam.git/ (URL functions as both gitweb and git URL) Andreas, I took your README file and adjusted it, I hope you don't mind. I didn't fork from your git tree because you'd already

Using IMAP keywords instead of mailboxes for spam with dovecot-antispam
Hi, Some email clients, like Evolution, use IMAP keywords to flag spam instead of moving mail to dedicated spam mailbox. This is very useful, as false positives can be easily "moved" to original mailbox simply by removing $Junk keyword. I couldn't find a way how to integrate antispam software, like dspam, with dovecot, so that antispam automatically learns ham/spam. I have found

Dspam direct pipe needs mail-line-endings (\r\n) translated into unix line-endings (\r). like so: ----- learn-spam.sh --------- #!/bin/sh sed -e 's/\r$//' | /usr/bin/dspam

Dovecot With DSpam AntiSpam Plugin Replacement With Sieve
Hello I have recently had to rebuild my email server, it is a small server for my various email accounts and I also host the email for a clients business. Switched to Dovecot from Courier many years ago, and it has been a very reliable solution With the new rebuild I have updated it to Dovecot 2.2.33.2 with PigeonHole 4.21, it runs DSpam 3.10.2 to scan and tag all incoming mails as Spam or

dovecot API / Virtual Folders?
I was wondering if anyone has done something like this, or knows of any reason it would not work. Would it be possible to use dovecot's API to create virtual folders where when messages are placed in them some other application can be executed on them? With programs like DSPAM and SpamAssassin, and with users who do not have shell access to the machines, it would be nice if there was a
