Hi, I'm working on a MEPIS (Debian-based Linux) computer, using the emacs/ESS package to do my R work. I've got some plots that I label interactively using the locate function. With the Windows GUI there is an option to take a snapshot of the graphics output, saving it as an image file. Is there a way to do this with emacs/ESS? Thanks, Tyler

I got QQ International (version 1.0) to work via WINE under Mepis 8.5. Using winetricks, I installed all of the missing DLL's, and QQ now starts up and runs fine. ... except for the fact that it always shows me as being "Away". I added the winehq debian repository to apt-get | synaptic (I am running mepis 3.3) and would like to install those rather than the debian official unstable builds but since the winehq repository is also marked as part of 'unstable' distro I can't find a way to distinguish the wine / winelib provided by winehq from the official ones (which would need the many winelib-* packages)

I am running linux MEPIS 8 and have been having problems getting smithmicro quicklink mobile to work with wine. It installs fine and runs fine but no USB support will not detect my blackberry to use as a modem and alltel/verizon has no plans (nor does smithmicro) to make a linux version of this any one have any ideas?

CentOS 4.3 (fully updated, including CentOS Plus kernel). Running KDE 3.5.2 (fully updated from redhat.kde repo). I can't seem to get the OS to recognize my SD card when inserted into my USB card reader. Mepis 6 Beta 3 has no problem with it. DMESG sees nothing happening when the card is inserted. USB-STORAGE module is loaded.
