postfix, dovecot, sasl deliver error
Hi, I am receiving an error when trying to send mail. I am using FreeBSD 6 and dovecot 1.0.alpha5 and postfix 2.3-20051223 which includes the dovecot sasl patch. I am getting: Dec 26 17:26:45 example postfix/pipe[612]: DC90D5C30: to=<tep@example.com>, relay=dovecot, delay=14, delays=14/0.05/0/0.08, dsn=4.3.0, status=deferred (temporary failure. LDAP, sieve, and virtual users
This seems to be a common topic but I haven't seen anyone ask this exact question and get a decent answer: I use virtual mailboxes with all of the db's in LDAP. Last night I upgraded to the latest CVS version of dovecot and dovecot-lda and got global sieve filtering working by setting the global_script_path to a sieve like /home/vmail/mydomain/sieve and it works great. Now I need to

Asterisk@Home Forum Suggestions
Hi, I have created a new forum for Asterisk@Home users (I guess it could be used by any asterisk users). I am looking for suggestions on forum categories. If you have any, I would greatly appreciate your input. I have some already setup but I am not so sure of how logical the categories are. You can view what is already in place at http://www.asteriskathome.org. As you can see, the forum

Overriding inbox location in passwd-like file
Hi, I have some real users and some virtual users. The real users use mbox file as their inbox. But I'd like to use Maildir as inbox for the virtual users. (The reason is that I am actually moving some accounts from another server that already uses Maildir.) I'd like Dovecot to find Maildir in $HOME of my virtual users as their inbox. So I tried to use the following in my users.passwd

DomU second /29 on eth0
Hi, I have a question that relates to adding additional IP's to a Xen guest. Do I need to do anything at the Dom0 level to add a /29 to a DomU that has an IP from Dom0's /29? I certainly hope that made sense. Thanks in advance for your help. Tracy Phillips -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Per-user quota (passwd)
Oh you have multiple db's, I missed that. Remove auth_username_format, and instead userdb { args = /etc/imap.passwd username_format=%Ln driver = passwd-file override_fields = home=/var/vmail/glu_vrem/%u } On 29.06.2017 14:35, Evgeniy Korneechev wrote: > with auth_username_format = %Ln: > > Jun 28 14:43:41 auth: Debug: master in: USER 1 iivanov.ia at example.com

mail delivery location wrong
Hi, thanks for offering the oportunity to place a question here. I am now already working since a week to get postfix and dovecot working on a ubuntu 11.04 server. Hard task. First step was naturally to get familiar with the idea behind the archtitecture. I have come very far, but the "last dirty mile" is probably the hardest. My architecture: Postfix Dovecot OpenLDAP Thunderbird as

The following namespace is a normal user too, every mail to bos at
