But I'd like to have also a backup of the mail, beckause not all users do ther backups ... We use mbox-format-mailboxes. Hi, I have one user who should be able to _view_ all open files and connections on a samba server. He should not be allowed to login to the server by telnet or ssh to use smbstatus, nore should he be able to use swat as long as he could view the configfile. Hi, what I've done: Installed Redhat 7.2 and Samba 2.2.2 from rawhide. Configured samba as a PDC and WINS-Server. Added Useraccounts and Mashineaccounts for my NT4SP6a-Users and -Systems. The NT4 Systems can join the domain, the Users can access the shares. Installed W2K with sp2 on an testsystem. I can access the shares with different users.
