Status of your Dovecot GSSAPI patch
Hi!
I saw your discussion on the Dovecot list back in October about a SASL
GSSAPI patch for Dovecot. I'd like to ask what the status is on it. Are
you still working on it?
Thanks for your attention!

How long to 1.0?
Hi!
I'm wondering how close Dovecot can be said to be to 1.0 "Final". How
stable can the alpha branch be said to be?
I was browsing around the Dovecot homepage, but I couldn't find any
answer to this question. I hope it hasn't been asked (too many times)
before.

Known problem?
Virually all windows programs that use just a little beyond basic
functionality that I try running under wine produce exceptions, and on
top of that, wine seems to crash every time it tries to start the
debugger, such as:
wine: Unhandled exception, starting debugger...
But nothing ever happens, no matter how long I wait. Sometimes it says
it crashes with c0000005 (the windows equality to sigsegv,

.Xauthority & SMB
I asked this question a while ago, but never got any response. Since
then, I've researched the problem some more, so I can give a much more
concise description of what's happening.
I'm mounting the home directories of the users upon login (using
pam_mount) from the Windows server. However, none of the users can run X
Windows. It says there's a problem with the .Xauthority file.

u32 filter won''t match
Hi!
I really need help with a u32 filter that won''t match what I think I''m
telling it to. The situation is that I have set up an internal
computer to change the TOS value of packets sent by certain processes
to 0x1E (If anyone known of a better way to mark packets, please tell
me. I would love to find some module that adds an IP option with UIDs
and GIDs to the packets - does

Dovecot IDLE bandwidth usage
Hi list,
I just recently discovered the IMAP IDLE command and tried it out with
my Dovecot server. It seems to work fine and all, but it seems to be
using quite a deal of bandwidth, because of the "* OK Still here"
messages sent by the server at two minute intervals. I would argue that
is a bit of a problem when using the IDLE command for "Push mail" on a
mobile phone.

HTB rates aren''t enforced correctly
Hi!
I recently changed my qdisc from CBQ and PRIO to only HTB, and I can''t
really seem to get the rates to work as I want them to. I have eight
classes, which I set up as follows:
tc qdisc add dev eth1 root handle 1: htb default 122
tc class add dev eth1 parent 1: classid 1:1 htb rate 1000kbit ceil 1000kbit cburst 1500 burst 50kb

in the authmethod_is_enabled(method) function call
using ddd , OpenSSH 5.2.p1, Linux 2.6.22.5-31 (SuSE 10.2)
Questiion - what enables gssapi-with-mic?
Thanks

GSSAPI support in 3.8 ?
Hi All,
>From Changelog with 3.8:
"The experimental "gssapi" support has been replaced with the
"gssapi-with-mic" to fix possible MITM attacks. The two versions are not
compatible."
I am using OpenSSH-3.6 with Simon's patch and OpenSSH-3.7 built with GSSAPI
support. The latest version OpenSSH-3.8 is not working with 3.6 or 3.7 with
GSSAPI authentication. I

gssapi-with-mic and Win2K KDC?
Upgrading to the 3.8.x versions of OpenSSH appears to have broken
support for Win2K KDC's. Win2K supports gssapi just fine, but the new
gssapi-with-mic does not appear to work. I was able to use the old
3.6.x versions with Kerberos authentication, and the newer 3.7.x
versions with gssapi authentication, but 3.8.x does not seem to work at
all. The mitm patch provided for 3.8p1 does work, but

What were the GSSAPI changes? I am having problems with _some_ of my
users using GSSAPI auth. I am using version 1.2.1. The client

I'm new to Dovecot and I try to compile it to allow GSSAPI authentication.
Unfortunately, configure says me always:

OpenSSH+GSSAPI & HP/UX 11i...
I am trying to transition several HP/UX 11i (PA/RISC) servers from

Kerberos v5 and GSSAPI support in OpenSSH
An updated version of my patch for Kerberos v5 support is now available
from
http://www.sxw.org.uk/computing/patches/openssh-2.5.2p1-krb5.patch
This patch includes updated Kerberos v5 support for protocol version 1,
and also adds GSSAPI support for protocol version 2.
Unlike the Kerberos v5 code (which will still not interoperate with
ssh.com clients and servers), the GSSAPI support is based on

Bus error with gssapi on HP-UX PA-RISC(32bit)
hi,
I have a problem in the gssapi patch.
I have applied the gssapi patch for 3.4 version on
OpenSSH-3.5 and built the
source on HP-UX 11.11 (32 bit hardware). When I run
ssh using the "-l"
option such as "ssh -l <username> <hostname>", I am
getting a SIGBUS error.
That is the function "gss_release_buffer()" is causing
this error. Any views
on this?

Cannot login with method=GSSAPI
I am migrating an existing dovecot server to a new server. The existing
server uses pam_krb5 and works with the plain and gssapi methods. The new
server plain/pam_krb5 normal password authentication works. However, the
gssapi (tickets) authentication is producing the following error:

Excellent! That was quick!
Although, you used my actual local domain in your example: mail.hprs.local. Not that I care,
no one can get to that, but it might be clearer to those of us who uncomprehendingly
