Hi ALL, I have a harddisk with 3 primary partitions and one extended partitions. Under extented partions , there are 15 partions. Whole hard disk has been partitioned in a standard way, (i.e NOT LVM) It has 2GB ram. swap is also 2GB. Now I want to extend this swap to 4 GB. When I compiled a linux kernel, gccas was used to compile assembly code. But gccas cannot recognize the line comment character "#" of gnu assembler, and abort the compile with reporting a error "syntax error, unexpected $undefined". I am able to get access to the primary partions and already recovered the data. I can see all partitions using fdisk -l /dev/hdc.
