dovecot-auth zombie procs
Hi, every now and then it seems as if dovecot-auth zombie's out. When this happens nobody can log in. If I kill all the dovecot-auth processes and then restart dovecot everything seems to work again. I'm authenticating against an openldap server on a debian sarge box so I wonder if this has anything to do with it. All my clients are using Outlook. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Feature-request: ip based access control (libwrap)
Is there plans to use libwrap Or is there already some kind of access control i have missed?? I could solve this by iptables or access list on the router

Problem with openssh-4.0p1 and tcp wrappers on RH7.2(Scyld)
I have tried to update openssh-3.1p1 of our system that uses RH7.2 (Scyld). I is pretty much a standard Redhat 7.2 install with openssl-0.9.6b, zlib-1.1.4 etc. I have gotten openssh to work after some initial issues, but I still have not been able to get openssh/sshd to work with tcp-wrappers. I have in hosts.deny ALL: ALL: and in hosts.allow ALL: localhost, 127.0.0.1, 192.168.1. and still I

rgl update: please test!
(This is bcc'd to a list of people who have had problems with rgl lately or who are known to be big users; not cc'd, so you don't all get cc'd all the responses on the R-devel list). I've just put together a test build of rgl, and put it on my web site as http://www.stats.uwo.ca/faculty/murdoch/software/rgl_0.70.564.tar.gz (source) and

Proper use of LD_LIBRARY_PATH for Linux progs?
Hi! I ran into a problem with programs exec:ed by print/acroread8 picking up Linux libraries and thus failed to run. This includes the print program in the print dialogue and the browser configured in edit/preferences/internet. The reason is that the acroread launch script sets LD_LIBRARY_PATH which is propagated to its childs. See this PR:

plus-address delivery
Forgive me, if this has been previously discussed. I researched as best I could. I couldn't find anyone mentioning it. Please treat me as a newbie. I've recently set up postfix, amavisd-new/SpamAssassin, and dovecot. All three utilize a user database in a MySQL db (on the same host). So far, so good. The problem: I wanted amavisd-new to deliver an e-mail above the

[LLVMdev] Phabricator and private reviews
I have seen the "Too many recipients to the message" several times. A limit of 10 includes the patch author and the list leaving just 8 subscribers/reviewers is way too low. Given that these e-mails can be sent only by a Phab. user I'm not sure that spam is a problem at all: A potential spammer would first have to subscribe to Phab. then create a proper diff,... far easier just to

[3.7 Release] Let's fix the release notes!
Dear everyone, The in-progress release notes for 3.7 [1,2] make it look like we didn't do very much over the past six months. Obviously that's not the case at all, so let's get them in shape! If you've been thinking "I should probably add this to the release notes at some point", now is the time :-) I have a list below of changes that might be worth mentioning. I

Browsning problems from Vista
I have a setup where a Vista machine that is behind a NAT connects to a Linux (debian) machine to access SMB shares on that machine. The connection is made with VPN using L2TP/IPSec. I have configured the Linux machine to act as WINS server and PPP will give the Vista machine a new IP on the same subnet and also tell Vista that the WINS server is the Linux machine. I have added one share

LiblineaR: accept sparse matrices
Thibault, It would be nice if LiblineaR() accepted data in the form of a sparse matrix (it does not accept whatever e1071::read.matrix.csr returns). It would also be nice if there were functions to read/write files in the native liblinear file format; I am sure the original liblinear library provides at least the input code. data retention and e-discovery rules
Hello All, I am in the United States where we have e-discovery rules. Some organizations have to retain data for a certain amount of time, others are required to have a data retention policy. This means that while it should probably be possible for a user to "delete" an email so they do not see it. The server needs to store it, possibly in a tree that mirrors the folder setup of
