[LLVMdev] [PATCH 0/2 v3] add visibility hidden to tls entry points
Patch 1 adds a check for the compilers visibility macro to configure.ac.
Patch 2 avoids redefined symbol errors in clang of the tls entry points.
Based on a suggestion from Rafael Ávila de Espíndola <rafael.espindola at gmail.com>
in http://llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=19778.
Tested with gcc 4.9 and clang 3.6(rc)

Test51 compile problems
First of all, thanks for a great product. I've been able to get dovecot
up and running with minimum pain. Very nice.
Running Fedora Core 2 with postfix using mysql for virtual mailbox
config. Got release version of dovecot working with a passwd-file, then
I wanted to try it out with using the same mysql db as postfix, so I
downloaded test51.
I run
./configure --sysconfdir=/etc

I believe this should be OK to go in regardless of the status of patch
2. There are just a couple of trivial nitpicks.

[LLVMdev] linux mixed 32/64 systems
Currently the build systems sets ARCH based on the result of 'uname -m'.
On a mixed 32/64 system (one with a 64-bit kernel and a 32-bit
userspace) this will result in "x86_64" which is wrong.
We'd like the ARCH variable to represent the userspace we're compiling
in/for, not what the kernel happens to be.
Does anyone know of a clean way to detect this sort of system

[RFC PATCH v2] cover: armv7: celt_pitch_xcorr: Introduce ARM neon intrinsics
Hi,
Optimizes celt_pitch_xcorr for floating point.
Changes from RFCv1:
- Rebased on top of commit
aad281878: Fix celt_pitch_xcorr_c signature.
which got rid of ugly code around CELT_PITCH_XCORR_IMPL
passing of "arch" parameter.
- Unified with --enable-intrinsics used by x86
- Modified algorithm to be more in-line with algorithm in
celt_pitch_xcorr_arm.s

SSL flags (was Re: [nut-commits] svn commit r593 - branches/deb_fixes_for_trunk)
Peter,
Any objections to adding this to the trunk? When I run 'ldd upsc'
without this patch, it lists the OpenSSL libraries, and the default
./configure setting is to not use OpenSSL.

It kills me that there's no intrinsic for VMOV.F32 d0, #0 (or at least I
couldn't find one), so this takes two instructions instead of one.

rlimit sandbox on cygwin
Hi all.
I have an old windows VM with an oldish cygwin that I use for the
regression tests. Investigating one of the test failures, I see that
it's for UsePrivilegeSeparation=sandbox, and it seems to be because
setrlimit(RLIMIT_FSIZE, ...) is not supported.
IMO, this isn't a big loss, since the most useful thing in the rlimit
"sandbox" is the descriptor limits. Can anyone see
