ChangeLog for R packages {was "Wish list"}
I've been using a cvs2cl.pl (http://www.red-bean.com/cvs2cl), a nice little perl script to auto-generate GNU-style changelogs from CVS log information. This site also has a proposed XML format for changelogs, and cvs2cl can optionally produce this instead. Finally, they have an XSLT sylesheet that will convert the XML changlong format into an HTML/XHTML page. How about we borrow this tool

bug in LSUB command
RFC 2060 section 7.2.2 and 7.2.3 says the "The LIST response occurs as a result of a LIST command." and "The LSUB response occurs as a result of an LSUB command." Dovecot presently returns the LIST response for the LSUB command. -- Geo Carncross <geocar at internetconnection.net> Internet Connection

nlme and spatially correlated errors
Dear R users, I am using lme and nlme to account for spatially correlated errors as random effects. My basic question is about being able to correct F, p, R2 and parameters of models that do not take into account the nature of such errors using gls, glm or nlm and replace them for new F, p, R2 and parameters using lme and nlme as random effects. I am studying distribution patterns of 50 tree

link() problem with dovecot-imapd
I'm having a few problems with dovecot-imapd (installed from debian unstable) and am after some much needed help, all is set up and configured, except for this final problem of when I try and move or copy a message from one Maildir to another. I have the option "maildir_copy_with_hardlinks = no" in the the dovecot.conf file but it still seems to be trying to link() the file

delivery agent in 1.0?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi :) Is there any plan to include delivery agent in 1.x? I would be very happy, if there would be lmtp delivery agent included with dovecot 1.x... This would make creating large mailsystem cluster creation very simple + indexes would be always up2date. Brane -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE-----

0.99.9-test4
http://procontrol.fi/test/ - Crashfix for multipart messages - More optimized mbox rewriting, should be "good enough" for most uses I think. I've been using it for a while now, seems to work. Still some problems: imap(cras): Apr 15 01:48:48 Warning: Our dotlock file /home/cras/mail//full-disclosure.lock was overridden And I'm sure it wasn't. Or at least shouldn't have

IMAP views - and things to make Outlook Express not suck so much
Some of the things that keep being brought up SEEM TO ME to be a form of IMAP crack that can be accomplished in a much more generalized manner with a little bit of thought. An idea I had a while back was for IMAP views. It accomplishes the four things I keep seeing on this list without being specific to any of them. Consider new configuration variables: rewrite Junk { folder = INBOX search =

L.S. I've some problems on a couple of my samba servers. The servers running CentOS release 5 with samba-3.0.25b-1.el5_1.4 The config is pretty standard, not much special in it. I'm getting these over and over again in my dovecot [CVS] logs. I'm using PAM for authentication- something that worked a few weeks ago. but when a call is comming from my IAX2 trunk, where the calls should come from, the authenticate command doesn't get any data. The strange thing is, to get to the Auth command, a user (caller) has to dail DTMF digit 1, which is working fine. Only the Authenticate command doesn't get it. The same problem persist if I'm using the Read command. When I'm set my debug level higher I
