utility to copy/sync IMAP mailboxes
Well, my Dovecot server (v2.0.8) is up and running, and now it's time to migrate mailboxes from the old mail server [Lotus Domino Release 5.0.8] running on Windows NT 4.0 [ancient -- been the mail server since Aug-2000]. I saw "dsync(1)" and thought my troubles were over. Only I can't figure out how to make it work with the NT/Domino server as a source for mailboxes. I guess

mailsync: NO Unexpected EOF
Hello, I am trying to migrate off a MS Exchange 5.0 server. I am using mailsync (http://www.linux-france.org/prj/imapsync/) to copy the files to a Dovecot server, version 0.99.10.7. For particular messages I get the following error: Couldn't append msg #114081 (Subject:[RE: balh blah]) to folder INBOX: Error trying to append: 826 NO Unexpected EOF I think this is Dovecot, complaining

Date recieve vs date sent
Hi All, I have migrated a client from what I think was UW-IMAPD to Dovecot, using the tool imapsync (http://www.linux-france.org/prj/imapsync/). The client is using Outlook and Outlook Express as their mail client and now all of their emails have the date 20/01/2006 in the folder view. When the email is viewed directly, the date is the correct date for the email. I was wondering if any one has

Does a script exist to fix broken maildir timestamps?
Hello, When I upgraded to dovecot (changing servers at the same time) in November last year I copied the maildirs from my old server without using the -p option to preserve timestamps! Since my mail client displays the email dates based on the Date header rather than the imap "internaldate" I didn't notice the problem until today when I tried to migrate an account to gmail using

migrating to dovecot
Hello, I am trying to setup a migration scenario from an proprietary solution to dovecot IMAP/POP3. Whereas am only at the strating point, things appear quite complicated because of the following reasons: - The proprietary solution uses special/own/proprietary mailbox format (wich is more like maildir but is not maildir) - I don't have direct access to the filesystem where the mails are

transferring imap folders
I have some old mail on courier-imap that I'd like to bring over some of the readme says I need to make Dovecot's inbox as "INBOX" not "Inbox" for courier-imap compatibility.. that seems to be already default, no ? also, my INBOX is mainly like 'sent/year/month' and some other 'work/this' subfolders is there a tool I need to use, or should just copy

Account Migration Tool
I don't know if this tool already exists, or if not how difficult it would be to implement, but the following is an excerpt from the man page the developer needs to write ;) - "imapcopy", a command-line utility that connects to a given IMAP account and copies the mails to a second IMAP account. This is accomplished using only IMAP commands and may be used with any IMAP compliant

ip phones and intercom/paging
There was a thread a few months ago that tossed around some ideas for using a cisco phone for intercom or paging. I don't have any ip phones, and wondered if anyone had any luck getting intercom or paging to work on the cisco units. Do any of the (cheaper) ip phones have a way to support intercom or paging? I presume that it's not part of the SIP or IAX protocols. Chris.

Dear all, Starting all over again with R-devel of 22-11-2015. Building R in 64-bit mode
Hope I am not sounding too much like a broken record - as far as 64-bit build on AIX is concerned. ** Short - 32-bit builds complete normally, 64-bit builds stop at "installing 'sysdata.rda'" with message: Error: Line starting 'Package: tools ...' is malformed! imap support question
OK, I'm actually trying to write something which interacts with IMAP. I'm trying to run the FETCH command and it goes OK, but I'm wondering how I might be able to call both RFC822.SIZE and BODY[HEADERS.FIELDS(..) in the same call. Right now I'm only able to get this to work with two calls to the server. I was hoping to avoid making two calls. Any suggestions? (I realize it
