After the boot sequence, if I type "ifup eth1 | ifup eth1.10 | ifup eth1.203" then the adapter starts up ok. Hi, I have a compaq V2000 laptop. Specs for network say its a realtek 8139/8139C+ NIC. Other distros (namely suse) said there was no problem with this was detected and worked. Mine does not work on either of the 2 V2000 laptops I have. I tried manually loading the 8139cp module then restarting the network and that did not do it. Any ideas? Jerry

Hi all I am wondering if anyone has had a similar trouble to this: The timeout arguments in the dial command does not work. The caller does not get disconnected when the timeout reaches zero. I am not sure if this is a chan_capi issue, or a asterisk issue. I am using CVS-head and chan_capi CVS head also. Any suggestions or help will be appreciated. Thanks Clive
