wireless networking probelm with WEP
Hi All! I run in to problem, what described in some more place: http://149.20.54.209/showthread.php?t=39724 . The concrete problem is: when I use FreeBSD with WEP, there are no RX traffic received. So, when I probed a DHCP request, then here are no response from DHCP server. The OS is: FreeBSD 9.2-BETA2 (freebsd-stable).

CentOS4, KDE3.3 and 128 WEP
CentOS4 standard installation. I see that KwifiManager doesn't support 128 bit WEP which I need for other machines on the network, which is a bit of a blow - and rather surprising really as security should be quite a consideration on an enterprise level system (NB RH!). Is there a workaround? An alternative way of configuring my Belkin F5D6020 ver 2 card? eg a cvs download that I can get

wep key generator
Dear All, I have this same problem on my ubuntu as in my Centos linux. when i use NetworkManager to connect to my NetGear Access Point with WEP security, the passphrase seems that do not make the correct KEY, so i had to check in the NetGear and enter it manually in EX mode, using iwconfig on CentOS and the networking utility in ubuntu. Ok, after this introduction this is my question. Do you

spandsp-0.0.2pre6
Just wondering if anyone else has managed to successfully compile spandsp-0.0.2pre6... I'm assuming it is working for most people, else it probably wouldn't have been released, and/or, other people would have had more to say about it... In any case, these are the errors I am getting while doing a make: if /bin/sh ../libtool --mode=compile gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I. -I -g -O2 -MT

6.4 : How to enable epel and the rpmfusions??
I've installed 6.4 on an old T30 ThinkPad, and I'm in the midst of setting it up. I can't seem to get an rpm of Pan for it, nor even to do yum update. Mousing around fedoraproject eventually got me to http:// rpmfusion.org/Configuration/ and from there to downloads for the free, nonfree, and epel packages (along with a caveat that tells you -- *after* you've gotten rpmfusion

Thinkpad T30
I have an IBM-refurbished T30, which has handled Fedora well, up through F18. But it never took to F19. I'm in process of trying to downgrade, but that seems to be a monumental job. I have other computers, including a T43 and a System76 tablet; the T30's chief virtue is that it has a serial port. My GPSs and proprietary software still use the serial port, and none of the various

extensions.conf -- what to do when command throws errors?
Hi, all. I've got app_rxfax going and nicely receiving a fax, which I then throw to a script, and have it convert it to a PDF and mail it. Works great... a lot of the time. But a fair bit of the time, rxfax throws errors, and extensions.conf seems never to invoke my script. Here are the pertinent lines: exten => _6403,n,rxfax(${FAXFILE}) exten =>

read.px() no lee algunos archivos pc-axis

app_rxfax.c: Channel T30 DONE < 0 -- incommplete fax reception.
Hi, all. I'm getting a lot of [Feb 3 13:56:36] WARNING[3721] /usr/src/asterisk/spandsp/agx-ast-addons/app_rxfax.c: Channel T30 DONE < 0. in my log file, and incomplete fax reception. Any idea what might be going on? I've googled a fair bit, but haven't seen anything leap out at me. Thanks, -Ken

CentOS 4.4 on Thinkpad T30
I installed CentOS 4.4 on an old T30 I had lying around using a slightly modified kickstart file that I use to install on desktop systems. I had to manually fix the resolution for X, but everything appears to work fine out of the box otherwise. Except for two issues: o After a period of inactivity (> 30 minutes), the laptop will go to sleep and I can not wake it up other than a

IBM T30, Redhat 9, Gnophone, mono PCM, Internet PhoneCard
I have just finished installing all the pieces of Redhat Linux 9 (2.4.20-8), Asterisk-0.9.1, Gnophone-0.2.4 on my IBM T30. Audio card is SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio. Not sure what the chips are. But everything works on both W/XP and RH9. (Machine is obviously dual boot) Everything starts, Asterisk is up, sound/audio is great for CD player, Volume controls, Voice recorder, RealPlayer, etc.

Mappery : uncertain Thinkpads (Repost?)
Followups set, hesitantly, to gmane.linux.redhat.fedora.general I thought I had posted this to both these groups, but my newsreader doesn't show it in either. I have three Garmin GPSs (an Etrex Vista and two Rino 120s), which I want to use under Fedora 11 Linux with four PCs, and two IBM- reconditioned Thinkpads, T30 & T42. Garmin software suites (Metroguide USA and Topo US 2008)

Optimizing Compare instruction selection
Hi Eli, Thank you very much for your response. In fact, I had already tried the X86 approach before, i.e explicitly using the status register. This is the approach that appeals more to me. I left it parked because it also produced some problems (but I left it commented out). So I have now re-lived the code, and it works fine in most cases, but there’s a particular case that causes LLVM to stop

T.38 on a MAX/Lucent/Ascend TNT
Hello folks, I've been trying to get T.38 over SIP working with calls terminated by a MAX/Lucent/Ascent TNT. As far as I can tell, SIP and T.38 are actually working perfectly; however, I can't get the TNT to properly terminate a FAX call. Does anyone have a working configuration for SIP and T.38 for calls from a TNT or APX? Here's a brief description/diagram of my test setup:
