Re: [users] CentOS 4.2 dag repo problem.
Hello, It would be nice if we could get a full list of packages which have a wrong sha1 checksum. I don't have the bandwidth for a full mirror of all of Dag's rpms and i also don't have shell access to such a mirror. So a small request for a mirror admin: The following checks the files repodata/*.xml.gz against the sha1 sums in repomd.xml and checks the RPMS/*.rpm files against

How come rpmforge.repo wants to install a whole slew of perl modules, yet if I leave rpmforge.repo out of the update process, none of the perl modules shows up? 64 bit
Hello, Presently I am considering using CentOS as my base OS. I am wondering about a few things though. I like KVirc as my irc program. I have had issue with compiling it in 64bit mode under Fedora 3 and was todl it was because Fedora installs both 32 and 64 bit libs and the compiler didn't understnad which to use. Will this be an issue with CentOS 4 also? If I install the 64 bit

yum cannot find bittorent rpm at dag
I am trying to get the x86_64 isos of CentOS-5.2. I wish to use bittorrent. The last time that I did this I required the bittorent package from Dag's repository. I have configured /etc/yum.repos.d/DagWieers.repo thus: [dag] name=Dag Wieers RPM Repository for Red Hat Enterprise Linux #Also see URL http://dag.wieers.com/home-made/apt/

Dag Wieers, the well-known maintainer of a once very popular RPM repository, greeted me with a big smile: "Do you know CentOS?" Lame update from Dag's repo fails for me, any help?
Trying yum update for the latest announcements. Part of the problem I experienced last week appears again: lame library DSA key is unavailable. I had tried to resolve this last week, to no avail. Tried again this week and found a French site with the key ID, but for libmad. Anyone can give me the proper instructions so this works? TIA Bill Here is a snipped part of the yum log.

TinyCA2 on rpmforge EL4 but not EL5
I want to install TinyCA2 on my Centos5 setup. I had a real learning experience the last time around (last year, July) and in the end, I got the repo down from Dag's site and was cool. Now I am on Centos 5 and no TinyCA2. Can I just download the EL4 rpm from: http://apt.sw.be/redhat/el4/en/i386/dag/repodata/repoview/tinyca2-0-0.7.5-2.el4.rf.html and do a yum localinstall ?
