similar to: mount ntfs file system

i have a public hostname "a" (not my machine name)on internet and my ip is xx.xx.xx.xx; the problem is other people can get my ip through hostname.but if he try to get my hostname through ip he always failed. the case above is in my program (i make it) ,what can i do for this?

been playing around a bit and noticed: When I login as root, gnome,? all the system sounds seem to be working. When I log in as a regelur user,? the system sounds do't.? Hi, I got a problem with accessing some share's on my samba PDC (3.0.14) When a user tyr to access a share for which he is not authorised a box show up to suplly a name and password to access the share.
